Those of you who’ve been reading this blog for a while have seen me wear a ton of jumpsuits. Believe it or not, I get compliments on those every single time. Yet so many of you tell me you don’t wear them. Most of the time, it’s the whole stripping down to go the bathroom that seems to be a stumbling block. Gurls. It’s an extra fifteen seconds, and who is in the bathroom to see you?! Today, I’m sharing the best dressy jumpsuits for holiday parties, and believe me, you can rock this look!

When I think about dressing for the holidays, I always imagine myself going to a fancy holiday party. Imagining is all I do since I’ve never gone to a fancy party. But, if this is the year, I’ll be prepared with this Black Long Sleeve Jumpsuit.

Talk about the life of the party! This is GORGEOUS. Can you imagine the admiring glances you’d get at a New Year’s Eve party in this? I love the wide hem and the tie belt, and of course, the V-neckline is so elegant!

Here’s another great version with just a bit less sparkle for those of you who don’t want to overdo the sequins, or prefer a little less dramatic entrance than the first look. While it looks like a two-piece, it is actually a jumpsuit. I like the mixed look, and you know I love the v-neckline.

This is so feminine! What do you expect? It’s Vince Camuto, one of my faves. The flutter sleeves are a nice detail, but I really love the crossed belt in front. The wide-leg pants look very elegant and flow beautifully. It also has a v-neckline, but it’s not nearly as deep as the others if you’re not a fan of showing skin.

Talk about not showing skin, lol. Sometimes, less is MORE. This is effortlessly chic. How do I love thee? Let me count the ways! I love the color, the angled-cuff sleeves, and the wide legs. I like the belt too, but I’d play with it with and without to see how I liked it best. This comes in a nice wine color as well if you’re not a fan of the teal.

Take a look at the link, and you’ll see this cute jumpsuit in a lovely green as well as the blue. I can’t tell which one I like best! You can’t see from this photo, but the green one shows her hands in her pockets. Yes, please! It actually looks comfortable. In fact, I’ve found that fit is important on jumpsuits, but if you get it right, they are VERY comfortable.

You don’t have to wear a sequin jumpsuit to look festive! Granted, this vanilla ensemble isn’t the fanciest, but I chose it so that you could see the details. There are several other colors and sleeve lengths at the link. I think these puffed sleeves are a nice detail, but if you don’t love them, you have lots of options.

Don’t love sequins? How do you feel about velvet?! This rich blue color is gorgeous, but I also love it in black. Like the others, it’s got wide legs, a tie belt, and a v-neckline. Plus, it has pockets! It’s also machine washable, which is always a plus.

Finally, here’s a loose and flowy jumpsuit that manages to be simple and elegant. Lavender was trending this year, and I like the 3/4 length sleeves. As usual, it comes in several other colors and sleeve lengths. You have to give it to Amazon; they give you options!

C’mon, Gurls! Try something new and grab one of these fun jumpsuits. It’s a sophisticated way to ring in the new year!

  1. My only gripe with jumpsuits is I am long waisted so the waist usually hits me under the chest.

Love the jumpsuit on you!! I always wonder – how easy is it to use the powder room in a jumpsuit? I never tead that in a blog! Maybe I’m the only one who has this struggle!

  22. Love your story about Christmas lights on the houses. In our area there are a lot of people with their houses and yards decorated. Actually on our street/block, the only houses with no visible decorations, is our house and the neighbor to the south. We have joked about putting up a “ditto” sign pointing at neighbor to the north. But it is pretty to look out our windows after dark and see all the lights. Have a blessed week!
