Gurls, I can’t believe I’m saying this, but brown loafers are HUGE this year. You know I love color and heels, so I wasn’t sure that I would fully embrace this trend, but I was wrong. I am absolutely loving how these look! If you haven’t yet jumped on the trend, don’t worry. Today I’m sharing the best brown loafers for fall, so let’s gooooooo!

If you prefer wearing flats, then check out yesterday’s post: The Best Ballet Flats to Buy This Fall

I started not to include this pair of loafers since they are a light color. But, the color is called Latte, and I consider that brownish, plus, I love these loafers.

I wore these when I was taking the photos for The Best Pullover Sweaters For Women Over 50 post. They are so comfortable!!! I love the tonal chain across the foot, and surprisingly, I like the white soles.

These Dark Brown Suede Tassel Loafers were also in the pullover sweater post. I’ve worn these loafers several times, which has surprised me. As I mentioned, loafers are not a shoe that I thought I would embrace, but I love the dark suede color, and the horse bit makes them look a little fancier.

You have to admit…these look great with this casual outfit!!!

The Best Brown Loafers For Fall from Amazon

These basic pair of loafers would be a great starting point for those wanting to dip their top into the loafer waters. There are no bells and whistles, so they won’t draw attention to your feet. But, they are a great neutral color and have a pointy toe which will help to elongate your legs.

For those of you who like to keep things simple, these loafers are perfect! No frills, just a nice, stylish, and chic flat. These are very popular and get great reviews. Oh, and they are incredibly affordable! You can’t go through Panda Express for that amount, lol.

How can we mention loafers without talking about PENNY loafers? Am I the only one who used to wear these in school with an actual penny slipped between the leather? If you don’t want to spend a lot of money on loafers, Amazon has your back! These look incredibly comfortable and are only around $25 dollars.

I love a great suede shoe! My sister recently purchased these for a trip to Martha’s Vineyard. She said they were very comfortable walking around town. They are only around $40 dollars and come in several colors, including a very pretty deep red!

How nice are these two-tone loafers from Clark’s?! They are 100% leather, and they come in narrow, regular, and WIDE sizes. While they are a little more expensive, the reviews are great. The gurls have spoken!

  4. Great post. I love my loafers. True story, I still have 3 pairs of Bass Weejuns loafers ( I think the company shut down, during Covid). I have tan, black and the classic wine. They are kind to my bunions. I especially like the ones from Talbots, with the arch supports. I will have to check them out. I have a Rewards bonus, waiting to be spent.

    1. Talbots is having a sale with 25% off, plus extra bonus points today, so it is good timing.

  5. Tania, I believe the Talbot’s loafer that you didn’t know what the stitching was called is called a “wing tip” style. A take on a style in men’s shoes. Very classy.

    1. Yes, that is it. I couldn’t remember that. Lol!
