Day 4 and 5 are getting combined today. I had planned on them being posted on separate days, but I decided to post them both together since they are so similar. I tried using the same or similar items for each post so that you could get an idea of how versatile certain clothing can be.     These are all neutrals again because I wanted to show how much wear you can get from neutral clothing. The top and pants are items that can be worn multiple times in multiple ways, while the scarf is the attention-getter of the look. This v-neck sweater is one that I bought a year or so ago. It isn’t the top style that I wanted to bring to your attention; it was the color. I’ll link to some similar sweaters in the same color family.

The cute diamond scarf is one that I recently purchased, and part of the reason I bought this scarf was because of the colors. I knew that the scarf would look great in the summer or fall. Plus, it is a small scarf that can be tied around your neck or on a handbag’s handle. Even though this is a new purchase, it isn’t on the website any longer. They have replaced it with a different print, and it will work just a good.     The colors on this scarf would be great for summer and fall. I love the muted colors, and I can see this going with so many outfits.     Notice that I am wearing a denim jacket again? That is because it is a fall staple and a neutral that will go with anything. It looks just as great with these chinos as it did with the olive pants, the jeans, and the maxi dress. I promise… you need a denim jacket! I think this one is from Talbots, but I’ll link to similar ones also.

You have also seen me wear these espadrilles a lot this summer, and I’ll continue to wear them into early fall. Then, I’ll slowly start to transition into mules, loafers, and boots, and booties.

I think that I might have shown this crossbody one too many times. I have seen a lot of y’all purchasing this bag, and this color is now sold out. It is still available in White Snow, but not this gorgeous caramel. I just got a similar one by Madewell, and it is a tiny bit cheaper too.     I switched things up a little for this look. It is a monochromatic look, and it is a very fall-ish style. I am crossing my fingers that the cable-knit sweater tank is still available for you because I absolutely am obsessed with it!!! YAY! It is online, has lots of sizes, and it is on sale!!! Plus, it also comes in cream white, so I am ordering that as we speak. I am wearing a medium, and it is plenty roomy for me. I love the way that it fits, and I am especially fond of the cable-knit and color. Don’t let this one pass you by; you will regret it. Lol!       I added a pair of animal print loafers as my fall shoe. I’ve had these flats for a long time, and they’ve brought them back this fall. They are a great loafer, and they run true to size. I am wearing a size 9, and they fit great.     This camel-colored tote is one that you will be able to carry all fall long. Actually, you can carry this tote all year long since it is a soft neutral color. It is a great medium size, and it carries all of your essential items and still has room for a few more things. The bag also comes with a long strap so that it can be carried as a shoulder bag or a cross-body.

These two bags are also great, and they are on sale, or they were last night. Lol!     Did I not tell you about this jacket the other day? It is one that I bought on the Nordstrom Sale, and it was by Lauren Ralph Lauren. Of course, it sold out immediately, and I looked everywhere for the exact jacket to no avail. I found several very similar, including THIS ONE that is almost identical except for the collar.

These are last year’s ankle boots. This caramel color is one of my favorites, and I think the color goes with everything. These boots sold out last year, but I’ll find some similar ones for you. That is the only downside to shopping my closet…you can’t purchase the exact items I am wearing.

Lastly, these cargo chinos are a pair that I bought at Talbots. The color spoke to me; I thought they looked like a great fall pair of pants. These pants come in several colors, including a navy and dark green that would be great for fall. I am wearing a size 10, and they fit me great.   Which look did you like the best?   I hope you liked this series. Love all the outfits, Tania! I already own several similar pieces, you’ve given me some new inspirations. Could you do a series on what to do with gently used clothing and accessories I no longer want. In the past I’ve been putting them in the bins at the local dump, but I’ve heard the clothes are shredded into rags! Don’t know if this is true, but would like clothes to have a better second life. Would love your input on this subject.
