STYLING A COLORFUL AND TROPICAL OFF THE SHOULDER TOP

Yesterday was a long day for me. If you follow me on Facebook, then you probably already know that I had to go to my yearly OBGYN visit. I don’t know of a single woman that says that they enjoy going to these visits. However, I do feel like they are a necessary evil, and I feel better about the visit once I get the “all clear” report back. I asked my friends on Facebook to share how they feel about the visits, and the comments and GIF’s were hilarious.
I am not sure why I didn’t get more photos of this outfit, but I only had a few, so let’s get right to the post. Tropical and colorful is what comes to my mind first when I look at this top. I have already worn this top once before, and I wore it with black pants last time. So, I decided that I would style the pants with a pair of white pants this time. I think that next time I wear this top, I will try it with a pair of yellow pants. The ability to wear multiple colored pants is what makes this top so versatile. Also, I am wearing this with the off shoulder look, but I wore it last time to appear like a boat neckline. I am quoting HE-MAN, “you have the power.” You don’t have to wear your clothing like everyone else; you have the power to change the item to fit your style. So, if you are not comfortable with an off the should style, then wear the top in the way that you are most comfortable. I bought this top about a month ago at Versona. However, I don’t see it on their website. So, I am linking to a few other tops that I like.

Look at these amazing turquoise earrings. They are the Joquelle wooden earrings, and they are a 3.5″ drop. I like that they are lightweight, but they still make a huge statement.
The necklace that I have on is called the Merisha. It has circles made of silver beads with oval marbled turquoise stones. There is a toggle clasp that makes the closure super easy.
I love a pair of white pants in the summer months. I practically wear white the entire time in June, July, and August. Lol! This pair is an ankle length, but I have crops, bermudas, and shorts also. I have so many pair of white pants that I am not sure which white pair that I have on in this photo. Lol! I do know that my shoes are by Michael Kors, and they are a moccasin style. I love this pair because they are comfortable and I can slip them on and head out the door. Here is a link to the shoes.
