Spring New Arrivals From My Favorite Retailers

I’ve been waiting and waiting for the spring New Arrivals to finally hit the websites of my favorite retailers. I know we will probably have a few more days of colder weather, but most of that is behind us, and I’m focused on spring. Today it was in the 70s, so that fueled me even more to bring all the spring new arrivals from my favorite retailers to you.

Nordstrom

I love free shipping and returns, so Nordstrom is always my first stop for clothing. I ordered the Smocked Tie Neck Blouse, the white Coolmax® Slim Ankle Bootcut Jeans by NYDJ, the pretty pink blush plaid blazer, the linen colored ‘Ab’Solution Skyrise Straight Leg Pants, and the petal Nylon Shoulder Tote.

HSN

HSN just sent out an email that they have free shipping on orders over $75! That’s fantastic!!! So, I quickly looked at their new arrivals and picked out several things that I loved. The green and blue Jersey Knit Sleeveless Wide Leg Jumpsuit and the green Stretch Twill Trench Coat would make a striking outfit.

Talbots

Can you tell that I’m loving green this year? The bright green boyfriend shirt, the pintuck yoke shell, eyelet yoke top are all beautiful shades of green that scream SPRING! Also, I noticed that they have come out with a rattan and leather clutch similar to the one I bought last year. If you like that one, buy it before it sells out. It sold out last year very quickly.

Chico’s

I have almost all of this already. Lol! The two maxi dresses are something I don’t have yet, but they are really calling my name. The Flutter Sleeve Tee is drop-dead gorgeous!!! I have it in black, and I’m ordering the white also. It looks beautiful with jeans, and I can’t wait to wear it with shorts later in the year. The navy Linen Stripe Tunic is also beautiful, and it looks great with the Blue Raffia Clutch.

Walmart

I have a lot of these items already too. The yellow and white sweater dress is gorgeous in person. I actually bought the white and black version which has already sold out. Because I thought it would be tight, I ordered it in a large and an XL, however, both were too big. The medium would have been the best fit for me. I also love the blue tweed Sweater Cardigan, and I’ve ordered these bone Cargo Pants to go with it. These Cognac Woven Sandals are the softest shoes I’ve worn in a while. They look and fit amazing.

Target

A lot of these items are also on order, so you should be seeing them on the blog soon. The Platform Mule Heels are very popular right now, and these are a great price. They would look great with the black and white striped Tote Handbag or the natural and black Mini Crossbody Bag. Pair the heels with the black Wide Leg Linen Pull-On Pants, and white top, and one of the handbags, and you are ready to head out the door.

Amazon

ALL of these are on order or already at my house. I saw a recent photo of Kate Middleton wearing a white tweed blazer, and it looked almost identical to this one. I loved this one so much that I ordered it in red and in black also. I ordered a large, and it fits me perfectly. The ivory long blazer is very nice too, but the large one was too big for me, so I have a medium on order.

Loft

Loft has some really cute items this spring. The Tweed Double-Breasted Blazer is a home run! I ordered it in three different sizes because I had heard it ran big. Normally I wear a 10 in blazers, but the 8 was the size I ended up keeping. The black Tie Waist Jumpsuit was one I purchased last year in a large, but it was too big for me, and they had already sold out. So, I quickly grabbed the medium because it is super soft and comfy.

J.Crew Factory

You guessed it…all of this just arrived at my house today. Lol! I’m going to be going on another trip soon, so I needed to get in a lot of clothing to have pictures while I’m away. I’ve not tried any of it on yet, so I can’t tell you about the sizing. However, I already own the suede d’Orsay flats in the saddle, so I ordered the black version this time. They run TTS, and my usual size 9 fits me great. The Shell sweater is a basic item that I’ll wear a lot this spring and summer. I plan on wearing it with the Relaxed boyfriend jeans or the Slim boyfriend jeans and the schoolboy blazer in navy.

I have many more retailers that are favorites, but I am worn out, and I bet you are too. Let me know your favorite items; hopefully, I’ll showcase them on the blog soon.

Verse Of The Day

Joel 2:12-13

“Even now,” declares the LORD, “return to me with all your heart, with fasting and weeping and mourning.” Rend your heart and not your garments. Return to the LORD your God, for he is gracious and compassionate, slow to anger and abounding in love, and he relents from sending calamity.

    Hey Tania,
I ordered the chunky bangle bracelets from Amazon. Love them! Could you show me the earrings you ordered from Amazon again, please?
    Thanks.

  3. My current fashion statement and want is a heated blanket and cozy warm socks. Short sleeves and sandals induce shivers. 😉😉

Hi, your site, “50 is not old,” is inspiring. I love the tone of your words as well as all of the information you share. I also enjoy seeing what you curate for your followers. I so wish I could wear the clothes that fit you so well and give you a polished, yet natural look. You are a great model.
However, I am only 5’ 1 1/2 “ tall and weigh 105 lbs at 79 years of age so misses sizes simply do not fit me. I am wondering (and I may be asking for too much) would you be able to let those of us who need petite sizes know when something you are showcasing comes in petite sizes as well as misses?
If not, could you refer us to a site for mature petites. I have searched, but the wonderful sites for petites generally seem to present clothes for those of us who are 35 and less.
Thank you so much for your work for us.

  5. You inspire me to clean out my frump clothes and style on!

  6. I was wondering if you could post some of these tops in jewel tones such as pink, electric blue, and emerald green for the ladies that wear cool tones all year round? I sure would love to purchase them. I love your post and appreciate all you do for us!

  8. I am so ready to ditch the heavy sweaters and cardigans I have to wear in Illinois during the winter. These items look great!

I’m loving green too. I bought a similar green boyfriend shirt from Old Navy that looks like the one from Talbot but much cheaper. Thanks for the items on Walmart and Target. I find a lot of things there. Walmart has cute comfortable shoes.

We’re getting hammered with a blizzard right now so I love thinking SPRING! I’m going to take down all my snowmen today and put up my spring decorations. Also cleaning out my closet to send out for consignment so I can refresh.
    Have a safe trip!

    1. Maybe all the spring decorations will help! At least you can dream about spring even it if is snowing.

Love the walmart cuffed jeans!! Thank you for sharing these great spring wardrobe items!! Unfortunately in my area it’s been in the 90’s already all this week! We skipped spring and jumped into summer!! Have a great Thursday!!

  19. Mary Kinard says:

Love that you included multiple retailers and price points. I cannot wait to see more spring items in your blog!

  20. Ginger Hiller says:

Safe travels to TN! I can’t select a favorite from all of the items you shared. You definitely shared some pretty things. We are already having some highs in the low 80’s, down here in south central Georgia with high humidity, so I went up in the attic yesterday and brought down just two containers of my warm weather clothes to fill in the gaps during this transitional period. I had ordered a bright pink handbag from Amazon and when it arrived it looked very familiar to me. You know why? Because I had that exact one stored in the attic, so I know now to stop ordering things for spring and summer until I change over my closet. Have a great time with your family!

  21. Melissa Palmer says:

I’m loving all of the colorful spring tops with the ruffle sleeves. How to choose? Too bad there are only 7 days in a week LOL.

I am originally from Clintwood, ( I think I told you that once before) and I love the pics and posts from the area. And of course, the ones about Joe! Take care and keep posting!
