Every year, the Fashion Folks get together and give us a fresh batch of colors to keep our wardrobes feeling fun and new—and 2025 is bringing some absolute stunners! This year’s color palette is all about making a statement, with gorgeous shades like Emerald Green, Dusty Pink, Tangerine, Plum, Buttery Yellow, Mocha, and True Red taking center stage. Today, I’m giving you Seasonal Color Trends for 2025: What To Watch For, and of course, giving you great examples. I may do a deep dive into each of these later on the blog. Let’s take a look at some fabulous finds in these trending colors and chat about how to style them like a pro!

Seasonal Color Trend – Emerald Green

Green Floral Dress

I think we can thank Wicked for this trend! Florals meet Emerald Green in this sweet dress from Amazon. This piece has a lovely, flowy silhouette that would be perfect for spring outdoor parties or casual strolls through town. The green color palette gives it a modern twist, while the floral design keeps it feminine. Style it with a pair of neutral-toned boots for winter vibes or strappy sandals for warmer days. Don’t forget a light scarf or jacket for cooler evenings—this dress is versatile enough to transition through multiple seasons!

Emerald Green Blouse

Here’s a great top for layering! The fabric drapes beautifully, giving you a polished yet effortless look—perfect for date night or even a pop of color at the office. Pair it with chocolate brown trousers or sandy beige slacks for a sophisticated outfit that plays with neutral tones. Add gold accessories, like a dainty chain or earrings, to highlight the jewel-like shade. It’s meant to be form-fitting but size up to allow for shrinkage.

Seasonal Color Trend – Dusty Pink

Dusty Pink Quilted Jacket

Quilted Zip-Front Jacket (Medium)

This Quilted Zip-Front Jacket is the perfect lightweight layering piece for spring. The soft dusty pink shade keeps it fresh and feminine, while the quilted texture adds a little structure. Try draping it over your shoulders for a chic, effortless feel. If you want a sportier look, pair it with white sneakers and a crossbody bag.

Dusty Pink Two-Piece Lounge Set

Dusty Pink is having a major moment, and this two-piece lounge set is all about cozy-chic vibes. The buttery-soft fabric will have you lounging in luxury, whether you’re catching up on the news or sipping coffee on the porch. Stay home in this, or throw on a cute sneakers and head out for running errands. I love the pockets and the V-neck!

Dusty Pink Blazer

Who says blazers are just for working gurls? This dusty pink blazer is perfect for layering over a neutral-toned sweater or even a graphic tee. It’s got that modern Brandon Maxwell vibe, and the tailored fit will flatter every figure. Style it with wide-leg pants or skinny jeans for a versatile outfit that works for both fashion week and brunch with the Gurls.

Seasonal Color Trend – Tangerine

Tangerine Hobo Bag

Don’t forget the accessories when you’re shopping for color trends. This Tangerine hobo bag is a showstopper! Talk about a cute pop of color. The interior is roomy enough to carry all of your essentials, and I like that it comes with a matching zipper wallet. It’s also available in Emerald Green!

Seasonal Color Trend – Plum

Plum Ruffle Top

Fun, feminine, and lively, this printed Ruffle Top makes a statement without being too bold. It is great for casual get-togethers, dinner out, or a day running errands.

Plum Sweater Jacket

Coolmax® Full Zip Sweater Jacket (Medium)

Casual and functional, this Full Zip Sweater Jacket is sporty while still looking pulled together. It’s ideal for walks, light workouts, or running errands in comfort.

Plum Top

This is one of my favorites. I love the detail on the cuffs and neckline. It would be so easy to dress up or down. Pair it with some skinny black pants to elevate, or opt for your favorite pair of jeans for a more casual outfit. Add some statement gold accessories to bring out the richness of the hue, and you’re ready to go!

Plum Long Cardigan

Notice how this long cardigan in Plum takes a very basic outfit – jeans and a white tee – to a super cute, chic place! The warm, deep color is perfect for layering over neutral tones like off-white or sandy beige. It’s lightweight but cozy, making it great for those unpredictable in-between days. Style it with scarves or boots for a chic yet practical look. Also available in the trending color red.

Seasonal Color Trend – Buttery Yellow

These butter yellow jeans are like a little blast from the past—in the best way possible! The high waist keeps things flattering, while the baggy wide-leg fit gives off effortless cool-girl energy. With utility pockets and a comfy, loose fit through the hips and thighs, they’re perfect for pairing with a fitted tee or a tucked-in blouse. If you love a bold, playful look, these are the jeans for you!

Buttery Yellow Cropped Jeans

These buttery yellow cropped jeans give me all the spring and summer feels! The cheerful hue is surprisingly versatile—pair it with a crisp white blouse for a fresh look or go bold with a floral top that incorporates yellow hues. The cropped length is perfect for showing off your favorite sandals or sneakers. Add some playful accessories like a fun bag or statement earrings, and you’ve got a wardrobe winner!

Buttery Yellow Teardrop Earrings

The buttery yellow shade of these teardrop earrings will brighten up your look and pair beautifully with neutrals or even emerald green for a fun contrast. Wear them with a sleek updo to let them shine, or pair them with a loose sweater for a cozy yet polished vibe. Jewelry this cute should be in every Gurl’s rotation—trust me!

Seasonal Color Trend – True Red

True Red is the color of the year for bringing passion and energy to your wardrobe. This denim jacket by Lee is a fabulous way to embrace the trend while staying comfy and casual. Layer it over a flowy dress or pair it with your favorite jeans for a denim-on-denim moment (it works, I promise!). The bold hue will instantly elevate your look, and it’s perfect for making a statement.
