RELAXING IN STYLE AND COMFORT THIS SUMMER
I’m enjoying my time in Tennessee, and I’ve already got to see my parents and the rest of my family. Yesterday, my DIL gave me a much-needed cut and color, and today we will be celebrating my dad’s birthday. Don’t worry, Dad; I’m not going to tell your age, but since I’m 62, I bet everyone has a good guess. Lol!
My appointment for my hair was supposed to have been earlier in the month, but I called and asked if we could put it off until the weekend of my dad’s birthday. Luckily, she was able to reschedule me (it helps that I’m the mother of her husband), but my hair was starting to get shaggy looking. I’m lucky the gray doesn’t show since I’m so blonde, but you better believe it is there. I tell Joe that he is the reason I’m going gray, and he tells me I’m the reason he is already gray. Hahaha!
When I travel, I like to be comfortable. Usually, that means I want something that is stretchy and has a pull-on waist. Jeans cut into my stomach, so if I’m wearing those, I’ll unbutton them until I get where I’m going. This is the outfit I wore recently on the way to visit my sister in Atlanta. I love the Zenergy Line from Chico’s; it is perfect for relaxing around the house or heading out the door. This Pink Stripe Sleeveless Polo is flattering since it features a blue strip down both sides. The blue makes your waist disappear, and you appear thinner! I love it when I can find items with this feature.
Here is the view from the back. I’m wearing a size 1, which is the perfect size for me.
These Easy Crop Joggers were perfect for me to wear on my trip to Atlanta. I try to pick pants that have a jogger hemline when I travel. Sometimes I have to take a potty break along the trip, and I like wearing something that won’t touch the bathroom floor. These are a thicker, almost Ponte knit fabric, and they are very comfortable! I’m wearing a size 1, and I like the roomy fit.
Here is another comfy and cozy outfit that can be worn at home or about town. I look for lounge outfits like this because they look nice enough to run errands and are comfortable enough to stay at the house.
Here is another polo shirt, but this one is more neutral. Because the Zenergy Polo with Trim top is primarily white, it can be worn with more items. I love the polo shirt style; the collar gives the top a more elevated look. These tops are great for playing golf (you have to have a collared shirt at many golf courses) or tennis, and they are so darn cute. I’m wearing my usual size 1, and it fits me great.
This photo shows you the length of the shirt, and it also shows the zip pocket details of the pants.
These Drawstring Crop Joggers are lighter weight than the pair I showed earlier. I call them parachute material, although I have no idea why since I’ve never felt a parachute. Lol! They are very comfortable and have plenty of stretch and give, so they move with you through the day. I’m wearing a size 1, and they fit great.
The shoes I’m wearing with both outfits are a pair of leather Cole Haan Toe Ring Sandals. I love this pecan color, and I liked the sandals so much I ordered another pair in ivory. It helped that they are on sale for under $50!
These outfits were taken a couple of weeks ago and got overlooked somehow. Some items might be limited in sizes because of that and also because Chico’s is having a Semi-Annual Sale. There are a lot of great deals in the sale, including lots of items you’ve seen me style before. I’m going to show you some other Zenergy items I like, some are on sale, and some are new arrivals.
Happy Birthday, Dad! I know your day will be filled with lots of cake, ice cream, and lots of laughter.
Which of these two outfits could you see yourself wearing? The pink and navy, or the white and navy?

I like the navy and pink outfit, and you always look good and busy, so go girl.💖🌸
I couldn’t help but chuckle when you said you like wearing joggers while traveling so they won’t touch the restroom floor. Lol. That is so me!!!
I like the pink & navy top and the crop joggers. I prefer lighter weight pants than the pointe type. I just watched your newest YouTube video and I really liked it. I like how you shopped your closet to copy a celebrity style you liked. Great job!! You are so lucky to have both your parents. I am 65 and lost both of mine 30 years ago. Enjoy all your time with them.
Absolutely love your tops. Such a slimming cut and you look amazing in your relaxed outfits. Very classy!
Always love your blog. Love the Zenergy Polo with Trim along with the pants. My style all the way. Happy Birthday to your Dad. Have a Wonderful Day!!

The pink and navy outfit is one I would wear. I really like Chico’s, especially when I can find something on sale. Enjoy the rest of your weekend with the family!
You defy aging! Are you really 62? You look fabulous! You look younger today than your previous post. Can you share your diet again?
I’ve never bought anything from Chico’s before. You’ve styled quite a few outfits from them and I have to say I’m ready to give them a try. I love the look of both pants featured. They do look comfortable. Thanks for the post!
I love the pink and navy😊
