QUALITY TIME WITH THE FAMILY
When I was home for the weekend I got to go and pick these two munchkins up early from school. I went to the office and started filling out the form to check them out. Child’s name, my name, time of pick-up, and then the question that stumped me……reason for leaving early. I looked at the other answers which were, sick and doctors appointment, and I thought and thought for something that sounded halfway plausible. Finally, I looked at the secretary and said, “Does Nana coming to town count as a good reason?” She laughed and said, “absolutely!!!”
It was red/white/and blue day at school but no one informed me of that. Lol! I think these two were having a ball picking on me while I was trying to take my pictures. I will take these pictures ten to one over the studio pictures. These show their real personalities. I don’t get to spend as much time as I would like with these guys since we live so far apart. It is really hard to believe that they are growing up so fast. How can they be getting so much older and me still be the same age????
I told them I needed to take a serious picture so that I could tell you gurls about my outfit. This is the picture I got. Lol! Here is a quick rundown of my outfit. My gray top is by Louis Dell’Olio. I have worn this top a couple of times and one of my favorite looks is here. The pants are from Old Navy but they are a couple of years old. That just goes to show you that you can wear items in your closet for years. Just keep adding items a little at a time and you will soon have a wardrobe as large as mine. The gray and maroon cardigan sweater vest is from Cato. I just bought this vest a couple of weeks ago but it is already gone from their website. I swear this company changes things around faster than any other company I know. If you are interested then in the vest you will probably need to go to a store. For my jewelry, I have on the Jamie necklace and the Maggie bracelet. The necklace is a leather strap and multi-strand light silver beads. The bracelet has the same matching beads and it is on an elastic cord.
Yesterday was Matti B’s 9th birthday so she decided to “strike a pose” for me. Lol! And you gurls thought that Emersyn was my only diva granddaughter. Lol!!! Maybe they will team up one day and do a blog together.
I am thrilled with all the descriptions that you gurls had for me. I especially loved the God fearing, family loving, and honest comments, I love to think that this is how I am portrayed. The surprising comment, and it was one of the most popular ones, was funny. I doubt if anyone who sees me every day would ever describe me as funny. It must be a hidden talent. I loved that down-to-earth and approachable was used frequently. I sure hope that is how you feel about me. Thanks so much for all the comments, you really know how to make me feel good. NOW, I am going to make one of you feel really good. I asked SIRI to pick a random number and then I counted back to that numbered comment. The winner of the NEW Active Hydration Bright Eye Complex is Rozanne!!! Congratulations!

Such cute pics of your family. Your son looks just like Joe, and Mattie does too. My grandmother’s name was Mattie and I have a granddaughter named Madeline (Maddie) So cute!
These pictures were enjoyable!! I am a Nana too, and love spending time with the grandkids.
Thank you for sharing.
So glad you got to spend precious time with those cute little grands. I do the same thing when we go visit our grands that are 10 hours away. Cute pictures?
Loved seeing your Tennessee family! Always enjoy your posts daily with my morning coffee!
I love seeing pictures of you and your family! You all look so happy to be together! Enjoy each moment with them.
Oh my goodness! Your grandchildren are so stinking adorable! Your outfit is pretty but the kids stole the show!
I agree, Ramona. Who can compete with all that cuteness????
The children are adorable and Miss Mattie B strikes a pose! Enjoy every moment!
Precious photos to have of your family! My two grands have recently moved back to our hometown of Cincinnati. I miss them so much and a visit with Nana is a great reason to be absent from school in my book. Another great look today! Btw on my phone your necklace looks like pearls instead of silver beads. Happy Halloween!
Debbie, I agree that anytime Nana comes to town they get to check out early. There will come a time when it will be, “Do I have to go and see Nana?” That is just the way it is. I thought the necklace had pearls too. I didn’t order it at first because I have several pearl necklaces, but this is silver instead.
Omgs your son looks like Joe ! Looks like you had a great time ! This outfit is so cute !
Beautiful family photos to have and cherish Tania ? Happy Halloween
