PURPLE AND MUSTARD
I am so glad you enjoyed meeting my daughter on yesterday’s post. But guess who came to work this morning and wanted to know when “he” was going to be featured? The baby of the family is wanting to have his day in the sun. Haha
Joseph is the youngest of my three children. He is the quietest in nature, blonde and blue eyed, in other words, the most like me. He went through a stage when he was young when he refused to get his picture taken. Some of my favorite pictures where during this phase. When he was in Pre-K, they let the children dress up for Halloween, and they took their pictures and placed them in an ornament to give their parents for Christmas. Joseph was Barney the big purple dinosaur. My ornament is on my tree every year. It is the picture of a dinosaur, from the back, and his snow white blonde hair. No face, just him from the back. He had refused to turn around.
We attended a wedding when he was around 6, and after the ceremony every one was gathered taking pictures. All of a sudden, Joseph is striking poses, and yelling take one of me, take one of me. I don’t know what snapped, but the shy phase had ended. Haha
Joseph later on became the class comedian. He would talk and talk in school, but he never got in too much trouble. He was a charmer, and that extend to his teachers. I went to school to talk to one teacher about him, just to see how he was doing. She told me that she had moved he in almost every seat in the classroom to try to keep him from talking to his neighbor. Out of desperation, she had moved he desk right beside hers, with his back to the rest of the class. Yep, all he did was talk to her then. Hahaha She said she couldn’t get mad, he was just so darn charming. Unfortunately that was in high school, not grade school. Lol!
I LIKE today’s outfit!!! It is an old as the hills purple GAP cardigan. It was so old that I had to remove a ton of “pills” from it before I could even put it on. I used a sweater stone, and in just a few minutes I had a pile of fluff, and a sweater that looked good as new.
Here are some cardigans that are similar.
I am carrying old faithful. This Dooney & Bourke purse can be carried year round, it doesn’t matter what the season. Here is a similar one in several different colors. The ivory espadrilles are by Isaac Mizrahi, and I think I bought them last year.
Now for the jewelry. My necklace is by Premier Designs and it is called Kaleidoscope. I don’t know who sells Premier Jewelry, (you can buy it off Ebay), but if any of you sell this and want to comment your information please feel free. My bracelets are by Stella & Dot and Chloe & Isabel. I am also wearing one of my favorite bracelets. If you have read many of my post, you have seen me wearing a black bracelet with charms. These bracelets are called By The Book, and each one has a different scripture. I am wearing Jeremiah 29:11. Today is my 7 month anniversary!!! So, I am going to be giving away a Jeremiah 29:11 By The Book bracelet. I know in price this is not an expensive gift, but it is one that is near to my heart. I hope if you win this, you will cherish it as much as I have mine. To enter I am doing something a little different. My son has recently started a YouTube channel. He is hilarious, I told you he was a comedian. I want you to watch the video below and leave me a comment telling me what you thought was the funniest part of the video. I will announce the gift on Sunday.

Well I thought the funniest part was his obsession over his head being cut off . But also I’m too much man for this chair cracked me up. Love this outfit!
The Chipmunk talk was funny, but funnier was not whispering for the whisper challenge. But the funniest to me was I am too much man for this chair, lol! ??? Cute springy outfit???
Hahaha – “Nickleback – Is that even English”
First, what an adorable couple and love the accent. I really liked the word game with headphones. Too funny???. Enjoying hearing about your family.
They are adorable! I want to come to come to a family dinner at your house…..I’m sure there’s lots of laughs and good times!
Lots of funny parts, but I think I liked “I got hella camel toe” best!
Love your outfit! I never thought of putting mustard and purple together but it looks wonderful. Joseph and Kayla are hilarious! I love his singing and dancing, so uninhibited. I’m sure together they keep your family in stitches.
I love that she yells her answers!
Where can I buy the By the Book bracelet? Love the way you write from your heart!
What a great complement of personalities with your son and DIL. He is definitely a charmer and when he asked her “Is this English?” thought I would croak. They are a great couple and the video was super cute! BTW, love the purple and mustard…Can I shop in your closet??
Very cute. I enjoyed the bloopers section.
