PICKING STYLES THAT CAN BE WORN ALL YEAR ROUND

I set the alarm. I had all of the items that I planned on purchasing from the Nordstrom Anniversary Sale already in my cart. At 9:30 AM, when it was time to checkout, I was driving down the road and had no cell service. I was like, “are you kidding me???” This was the first time since March that I have even left the county, and I decided to go with my DIL, who was taking my grandson to the doctor for a checkup.

By the time that we got to a spot where I had service again, I started the checkout process again. That is when I started getting the “sold out” message over and over again. UGH!!! Oh well, if it was sold out for me, then it is just as well that I wasn’t able to get the item since you wouldn’t be able to buy it either. I hate it when I buy something, take photos, and then write my blog post, only to find out that the item is all sold out. I know if I hate it, then you hate it also. I did the expedited shipping for the things that I was able to purchase, so I’ll try to do a try on session on my stories on Instagram. Are you following me? I decided to wear gold jewelry with my outfit today. I love wearing gold when I wear navy; it is one of my favorite combinations. The gold large hoop earring is the A.V.I., which is a pair that you see me wear all of the time. They are definitely a favorite of mine, and I liked them so much that I bought them in silver also. I love wearing two long necklaces together; I think it is an elegant style. The delicate long Rue necklace is one of the first purchases that I made from Kendra Scott, and I still wear it all of the time. The other long necklace is the Layla Veined Teal Magnesite. I love this teal color, and I think it will look fantastic in the fall with dark brown, camel, gray, black, burgundy, nevermind, it will look great in fall. Lol!!! You’ve seen me do this bracelet combination lots and lots before. This is my favorite way to wear both of these bracelets; I love the stacking effect and how each one has a different pattern. The bracelets are the Maggie Bangle and the Fallyn Cuff.

You know how I said that I hate bringing you clothing that isn’t on the websites any longer? Well, this would be one of those times, and it ticks me off. The terrible part is, I took photos of this dress in four different ways so that I could show you how to take a dress and make it work for all four seasons. Oh well, tomorrow’s blog will still show you all of the different stylings, and I will link to those items instead of the dress. Instead of linking to this dress, I’ll link to dresses that I think will work in the same way. In case you were wondering, this was a dress by Lou & Grey.

These neutral cork heels are my favorite neutral shoes to wear with anything dressy. I bought these shoes a couple of years ago, and they are by G.I.L.I. which sells on Q.V.C., but they are no longer on the website. I did find some that are extremely similar, so you can have the perfect neutral shoe also!

I’m sorry that a lot of the things that I have on today are not available, but it happens sometimes.
