This heathered brown (mocha) color has been a favorite of mine this fall and winter. I love the soft shade that is richer than beige, but softer than chocolate. The cashmere Classic Turtle Neck is called Taupe, and is very soft and comfortable. I read that it ran small, so I ordered an XL because I wanted an oversized look.

I paired the turtleneck sweater with black bootcut jeans and pointy boots in the same color to elongate my legs.

Let’s act like I’m getting ready to go out the door for a dinner date with Joe. I would add this Faux Fur Jacket and switch out the Suede & Leather Shoulder Bag for an LV bag I rarely carry.

I love this Mongolian Cashmere Polo Sweater from Quince. It looks polished but is still casual-looking. The Madewell Perfect Vintage Wide Leg Jeans have the right amount of width, not too broad or overwhelming. I sized up to a 29 to get the fit I wanted.

Let’s pretend I’m heading out the door to go to lunch with my daughter and DIL. I followed the same formula as above by adding a jacket and a nice handbag.

This Suede Leather Car Coat might be my favorite purchase this winter. It is so nice and heavy, but not stiff like some jackets can be. The dark brown color is on trend, and it looks great with the polo sweater and wide-leg jeans. I added a YSL handbag, which was a Christmas present several years ago.
