Nordstrom Anniversary Sale Try On Haul, Pt. 2
The Nordstrom Anniversary Sale did not disappoint! It had something for everyone in all price ranges. You can purchase new fall styles at a discounted price, and you’ll be happy you did once the temperatures start to cool and the leaves turn colors. Here are a few more of the items I found during my Nordstrom Anniversary Sale Try-On Haul.
This jumpsuit is gorgeous, and until I went to put it on, I thought it was a dress. Lol! It feels amazing against your skin and looks so dressy and stylish. If you have a party or event to go to, this would be a wonderful choice. It runs true to size, but you would need to add a snap to the neckline or wear a pretty camisole under it.
I loved this bright red Double-Breasted Coat, but I have so many coats that I didn’t need another one. I checked out and went to lunch, but the coat was still on my mind. After we ate, guess who went back and bought the coat? Haha! I just couldn’t leave it in the store, and I’m so happy it came home with me.
I did leave the Itty Bitty Bootcut Jeans in the store, but that is only because I already have them at home. They are one of my all-time favorite purchases from the NSale, and I wanted everyone to see how flattering they are.
My friend was trying on this Callie Sheer Knit Cotton Top, but it didn’t go with her skin tone. When she put it back, I tried it on and loved it. You can see through the holey knit, but I’m wearing a nude bodysuit underneath, so everything is good. The top is slighlty oversized, so I tried a small also. However, I liked the oversized look, so I bought the medium. The top is also available in a gorgeous olive color if this one would wash you out.
When I tried this outfit on, my sister immediately said, “That does not look like you.” Evidently, I don’t have a cool, hip side to me, but my niece does. She said give it to me when you take it off, and it went home with her. Lol!
The Twill Cargo Joggers ran big, so size down if you are cool and hip and these speak to you. I like the Crop Camp Shirt from Madewell. It is a great neutral that can be worn with shorts, jeans, and skirts. It is on the boxy side.
Vintage and retro-style sneakers are still a big trend. The Retro Court Sneaker (TTS) from Rag & Bone are so pretty and will look great this fall. The color and style will go perfectly with fall colors, and they fit true to size.
The Asha Oversize Mock Neck Sweater is a great pinkish color, and I love the fit of the sweater. If the neck had been slightly less high, this sweater would have come home with me. It fit great, but since the neckline was so high, I ended up leaving it in the store.
The Crewneck Raglan Cotton Blend Sweater ended up coming home with me in two different colors. Everyone needs a black sweater, and I also bought one in pink. This is a soft sweater that fits TTS. I paired it with a light wash Le Easy Flare Raw Hem Jeans and Blondo Waterproof Booties. The jeans are super soft and very stretchy. I ended up sizing down one size in them, and I love how they fit.
I wanted to include a couple of dresses or skirts in my try-on haul, and this gorgeous agua green Crewneck Cashmere Sweater and Pleated Midi Skirt caught my eye from across the room. The color is so pretty that I couldn’t leave it in the store. Now I need to figure out where to wear it, but I’m sure I’ll wear the sweater a lot with jeans.
Since I bought a white t-shirt from AllSaints, I left this one in the store, but the Patch Pocket Button Front Denim Skirt came home with me. I’ve tried a lot of denim skirts over the past year, but this one is my favorite. I love the length; it is not too long or too short, and the fabric is not too stretchy or too stiff.

Women over 50 can wear anything they want! Cargo pants are fun and youthful, so wear them if you like them!!!

Personally, this year the NAS has been a bust for me. Last year, I bought so many awesome pieces that I’ll use for years to come. But this year I have hardly found anything I like that I could use. The one sweater I liked and would have got a lot of use out of – a mallard green open cardigan – already sold out. LOL! Oh well, I’ll keep my eyes open for restocks on that one.
Love the red coat and the aqua green cashmere set. The light wash jeans and black sweater was also a favorite.
May have to try the itty bitty jeans! The neutral platform sandals are very nice, too!
when you have time, would you please measure the waist (laying flat) on a size 29 pair of jeans? I wear an 8 in jeans, sometimes a 10, yet my waist measurement is not a 29 or 30. (it’s bigger!). I avoid any jeans with sizing like that since I’m always afraid they will be way too tight in the waist.
Ann, you and I are the same size, and I wear a 29. My waist is bigger than 29, so I’m not sure how that works. Depending on the brand, I can wear a 28 up to a 31.
The cashmere pleated skirt and sweater are stunning. You looked great in everything you tried e, but that outfit is stunning.
I wasn’t thinking of fall clothes right now, as we are experiencing a heat wave here. That was until I saw today’s post. lol. You made some fine choices. I love everything you picked.
