Life is good! It was wonderful getting to see my parents, my son and grandchildren, and my sister and brother this past weekend. Celebrating my dad’s birthday was fun, but my mother had Honey-Do chores for me and my sister that has left me dragging my butt. I am used to sitting all day in front of a computer, so working in a small building with no air conditioning for hours at a time was not my cup of tea.

I was drenched from head to toe, my hair was soaking wet, and I’ve never enjoyed a cold shower more in my life. It is funny how we take things for granted, like a shower, but I felt very grateful once I had washed off. There is still a ton of stuff to do, but we are making a tiny dent one visit at a time. I am sure that my mom is busy making out her next Honey-Do list as we speak. It is going to take me the next six weeks to recover from this last trip.

Before I tell you about this beautiful outfit, I want to tell you that I am starting my Christmas in July special with the skincare that I use daily. I started using this brand in 2016, and I’ve used it daily ever since. The details are at the end of the post, so be sure to check that out for an amazing special.

I am fresh as a daisy and all smiles in today’s outfit. Some outfits make me happy, and this is one of those! I love that this outfit is casual but very polished and put-together looking. This is how I wish I looked every day, but I don’t need to wear a blazer most days. However, I love having a go-to blazer that I can count on when the need does arise.

I started with this sleeveless cable-knit sweater which is gorgeous all by itself. I had a similar sweater tank that I’ve worn for over 20 years, and I decided to finally retire it since it was getting worn looking. This is the first time I have run across anything that could replace my beloved but dingy sweater. I am wearing a large, and I like that it doesn’t show all of my bulges.

The gold jewelry that I am wearing is by Kendra Scott. You see me wearing my favorite AVI large gold hoops all of the time! I love this pair so much, and I have them in silver also. They sure make a statement, but they are lightweight and don’t hurt my ears. The multi-strand necklace is the Davis Necklace. I am wearing 2 of the 3 strands, and I love that the necklace is convertible.

GORGEOUS!!! What other word would you use to describe this aqua linen blazer? This gives the outfit that polished and put-together look, and it is what “makes” the outfit. I love the long, lean silhouette that the blazer creates, and the one-button closure is a classic look. I am wearing a size 10 in the blazer, and that works well since the sweater is sleeveless.

I decided to wear my slim ankle jeans today. These jeans fit me like a glove, and I love the Atlantic Wash color. The jeans have a slim fit and create a nice figure-flattering silhouette. I really like that the jeans have a small amount of spandex so that you can bend down in comfort. I am wearing a size 8, which is my usual size for Talbot’s jeans. So, I think the jeans run true to size.

The remaining items of my outfit are the icing on the cake. The scarf is one that I bought at Talbots on clearance, and it is no longer on the website. This adorable Baguette Shoulder Bag is sooo cute. My DIL immediately said that she wanted this bag because she likes smaller bags than I do. This one is large enough to hold a wallet, keys, lipstick, and a cell phone, but not much more. I love the beige color, and it is one that you can carry all year long. The handbag is only 29.00, so I think that is a great deal!

My neutral-colored shoes are Zoe suede d’Orsay flats in Saddle. These also come in black, but I love this neutral shade since it goes with everything. The pointy toe helps to elongate your legs to create a longer, leaner look. These shoes run true to size, and I am wearing my usual size 9.

I started using Rodan and Fields skincare after I started my blog. Putting yourself on the internet for everyone to see is scary enough. But, seeing all of the lines and wrinkles, sun spots, and hooded eyes was enough to make me reach out to a friend about trying R+F skincare. I loved the results that I was seeing, so I became a consultant for the discount. Lol! Soon, my readers noticed that my skin was changing, and they wanted to know my “secret.”

I truly believe these products helped me to look younger than I did when I first started blogging. Using your products correctly and consistently is the key, and Joe even tells me to “go wash your face” every night as we get ready for bed. Lol!

  1. Tania,
This is a beautiful outfit that I would love to have!
I just don’t have much call for it other than a occasional dr’s or dental appt! I wear scrubs at work, and dress very casual at home when I’m off.
I do love it however, PERFECTION! 🌸💕🌸

What a great scripture! I’m glad that you enjoyed the time at your parents home, even though you worked up quite a sweat. I think I would consider running an extension cord out to the shed next time, so you could have a fan to circulate the air. What a beautiful outfit! The scarf, sleeveless sweater, and blazer are gorgeous. Have a blessed day!

    1. GInger, we thought about a fan, but we really didn’t want “that” air circulating. Lol!

  3. Love this outfit!! Even better that the items are on sale. The color of the blazer is one of my favorites.

    1. I know!!! The sales are fantastic!

  4. Tania,
Are the beautiful outdoor pictures of the exterior of your new home? They are just gorgeous!

    1. Joanne, yes, most of the photos have been at our new home.

    1. Thanks, Mary. This looks like something you would like. I can tell by all of your comments.
