Gurls, today I’m sharing some of My Favorite Tarte Cosmetics Products, and let me tell you, these are the real MVPs of any makeup routine! I found an eyeshadow palette a couple of years ago, fell in love and never looked back! I’m using the Shape Tape. Love it. Tips I’ve found that work for me (1) put it on over my foundation, (2) pat a “barely drop” of moisturizer under my eyes before adding the ST, (3) only a pinpoint of the ST–if I need more, I layer it on, and (4) only do one eye at a time, if not the product dries out and cakes before I have it patted smooth.

For someone who has never used much makeup where do you start?
I would like to cover enlarged pores and a few dark spots but don’t know where to start. Thank you
You probably need a primer which helps to camouflage pores. You can use concealer on dark spots; I apply my foundation, then the concealer, and then I blend it out. I will then set both of them with a setting powder.

Found it! I’m not familiar with Tarte brand but may have to try it. I have a hard time finding a foundation that reallly matches my skin tone. Also, shame on Fed Ex! I’ve had problems with them before, too. Really poor service! Glad no one stole it from the driveway. Yikes!

I adore Shape Tape concealer. I have genetic dark circles, so I really need concealer. I’ve never used a concealer that works as well as Shape Tape. I often use two of them layered – the Shape Tape Creamy as a base because of the coverage, then the Shape Tape Radiant dabbled on top for a little light reflection. I’ve also used the Tartlette in Bloom shadow palette, but it had too many colors for me. Most of them went unused. LOL!!! So I switched to their smaller “to go” palette, but even then I only use 2 of the 6 colors. Anyhow, I want to try the Juicy Lips, I’ve seen it featured so many times.

FedEx is so frustrating! I’ve had the same experience. I think the driver just rode by and threw my packages out the door right on the street. I’ve watched as he walked the neighbors packages right to their front doors-My front walk isn’t any longer than anyone elses! Found it! My absolute favorite concealer is Shape Tape, nothing else even comes close. On my 70 year old skin, I have fine lines and darker shadows under my eyes and it covers them extremely well and never settles in my lines. I ordered the trio from QVC, love that glow stick! Another Tarte winner! I wish they would be back the In Bloom palette. I definitely missed the boat on that palette, it looks amazing!

I love Tarte. I use the foundation and concealer. I like the ultra creamy concealer which is better for mature skin. Their eyebrow gel is the best. It’s the only thing that will cover my white hairs in brows. It stays until you wash it off. It comes in a tiny wand but you have to use a light hand or you’ll look like Mommy Dearest. You older girls will know what I’m talking about.
I have the Ultra Creamy Concealer too, and it works great. I also forgot to include the maracuja creaseless creamy concealer. It works great to fight against creasing.

Found it. I have a tartelette eyeshadow palette that I have been using consistently for the past few years and it is still going strong. I have used the shape tape in the past, but find that I t highlights the wrinkles, so don’t use it anymore.

Yes, try adding a small amount of eyecream on top of the concealer, and pat it in. That works for me when any of my concealers do that.
