MUTED COLORS FOR FALL
It is a beautiful day in Virginia, but I feel fall in the air. I hate to see the warm days of summer leave, but I am already looking forward to fall fashions. I start looking for clothing pieces that can be worn for both summer and fall, and today’s outfit c/o Tribal Clothing is precisely what I am looking for.
I fell in love with this dreamy top the minute that I saw it on their website. I am a sucker for a flowy top because I love how romantic they look. The deep V-neckline is my favorite since it elongates my neck, making me appear thinner. I love looking thinner!!! The wide dolman sleeves will make it easy to add a long sleeve top under it for colder weather.
I love this print! The muted watercolors are beautiful, and they work for both summer and fall. There is light pink and beige for summer, and you have the darker grays and golds for fall.
The tie-front style is very popular, and it is a flattering element also. It draws your eyes in, and that helps to create a thinner waist. I am always looking for ways to “appear” thinner, except for anything involving diet and exercise. I am wearing a size medium in the top, and this top is machine washable. Click here to purchase your own, which is now on sale!!!
These pants are so comfortable and feature a Flatten It design to help shape your midsection to perfection! I couldn’t wait to get my hands on these capris, and they were everything that I had hoped for! The color is called Shadow, and it will work for spring and fall both. The pants have a unique detail that I did not get it in a picture. You can see a back slit at the hemline when you check out the photos on their website. I am wearing my usual size 10 in these pants, and they fit perfectly. Here is the link to these gorgeous capris.

You look great in this top. I love the colors and it’s more fun when you can move a favorite piece into the next season. I don’t usually buy white backgrounds because I am bound to stain it first time out but hope springs eternal.
I love buying items where I can get more wear for my money. I can see wearing both of these items with other things, making them a great value.
What a lovely romantic outfit! And I love those shoes! But aren’t they also too high for you like the blue ones earlier?
These aren’t as bad because they don’t have the platform that is super high.
understated but so pretty. Love the colors and the combination.
Christine, the colors were the first thing that I noticed.
That’s a lovely transitional outfit, Tania.
Thanks, Mary! I am happy that you like the outfit.
I love everything you post. BUT could I ask what size you are? You look great in all the clothes and I am getting inspired to try many of your suggestions.
Rasma, I am glad that you like my style. I am a size 10, at least for the most part.
Today’s outfit is the BOMB..you look stunning …
Ronda, thanks sooo much!!!
Beautiful outfit! I would wear the top with Olive pants for fall. Thanks for all the slimming tips too! 🙂
I think the top would look great with olive pants.
Love the outfit. Wanted to purchase the capris but they are all sold out. 🙁 LOVE LOVE LOVE THE TOP. You look gorgeous
I like this outfit. You know, I bought a tie front top back in the beginning of summer but when I try to wear, I feel like it accentuates my waist ( or I should say my lack of a waist…I am just kinda straight!) But I may try it again with my capris and definitely heels to make me look taller. I think we are about the same size as i wear a 10 too. Have a good day!
Gina, I don’t have a waist either. I am built like a ruler, so I love anything that gives me a visual waist. A tie-front can do that, but you need to pay attention to where the top hits you. You don’t want it to end at your natural waist, but a little lower.
great outfit! beautiful setting
They are lovely soft colors! Are these photos taken near your home? Looks very wide and green!
Nancy, these were taken at our local golf course. It is about 30 minutes from my house.
