Makeup Monday – It Cosmetics CC Cream
I’m a little slow to jump on the CC train. I just recently purchased It Cosmetics Your Skin But Better 50 SPF CC Cream and so far I am completely in love.
I have only been using this for two weeks, but it has quickly become my every day foundation. I apply a moisturizer and primer before applying the CC cream. I suggest you apply sparingly, a little bit goes a long way. I am using way less product than before. Even though it is sold as full coverage, this is pretty much a medium coverage. However, it is build able if more coverage is needed. I Â bought the shade light and it looks like my actual skin. It reduces the redness and evens out my skin tone. I am particularly conscious of any cream settling into my life lines, aka – wrinkles, and so far I am please with the results. I can only hope the anti-aging properties are hard at work.
The addition of the 50 SPF is huge. I wish this had been around when I was younger, like in my 20’s. I read somewhere, that women develop age spots on the left side of their face. This is because when they drive in a car the sun shines in through the window. This cream would solve that problem. Just a little too late for me.
The only complaint’s I have are minor ones. I am particularly sensitive to smells. Quite a few products give me a headache because of the odor they have. I can’t walk into some stores because of the perfume that knocks you down as you walk in the door. Thankfully, this product does not give me headaches, but it does have a medicine type smell. The only other complaint is price. It is a little costly, if it wasn’t for the SPF, if would be way over priced. It sells for $38.00 at Ulta.
Overall I give this a 4.
