MADE IN HIS IMAGE
I soon realized that helping women feel better about their outside was important but what about the inside? What about the person who had been told they weren’t good enough? What about the woman who had been told that they weren’t loveable? What about the person who was told that they were not pretty? The list could go on and on.
The real truth is that you ARE good enough, you ARE loveable, and you ARE pretty. The problem is not with you the problem is with the person spewing the lies. I am not saying we are perfect but I am saying that the opinion of the Lord is the one that matters and not someone here on earth.
Psalm 139:14 says, I will praise thee; for I am fearfully and wonderfully made: marvellous are thy works; and that my soul knoweth right well.
The Lord made YOU. He breathed life into your soul, He created your body, He knows every hair on your head. Do you think He considers you imperfect? The Lord created the entire universe, the heavens, the stars, and He also created you. We marvel at a beautiful sunset, the power of Niagra Falls, or the breathtaking view of the Grand Canyon. All those things are breathtaking but none of them were made in the Lord image.
Genesis 1:27says, So God created mankind in his own image, in the image of God he created them; male and female he created them.
I know that society judges us by our outward appearance. The Lord does not. The next time you see a beautiful sunset just remember that the same God who created that sunset also created YOU.
Have A Blessed Day!
Your Sunday messages are beautiful. Thank you for writing them.
Beautiful Tania, thank you…..
Bless you for this reminder.
Tania,
What a wonderful post today! It actually brought a little tear to my eye with the beauty and truth of the words.
I discovered your blog during a time when I had really gotten kind of frumpy and lost my way, fashion-wise. Your fashion inspiration reminded me how to feel fabulous again!
I also love your down-to-earth way of talking to everyone, and the deeper spiritual stuff is just icing on the cake!
Keep sharing 🙂 You’re doing a great job!
Donna, I had my own battle with feeling lost and frumpy. I always strived to look “put together” but it always fell short of the goal. I kind of feel that way with my walk with the Lord. I always seem to fall short. I am hoping my blog not only helps others but me also. BTW, one of my best friends growing up was Donna Thompson.
Thank you for this beautiful message Tania❤️ Have a wonderful Sunday and God Bless.
Very well said. Love to read your posts and see what’s on your mind
Tania, thank you for articulating such a beautiful message. ❤️
What a blessing this Sunday morning!
Amen sista! I needed that today. Bless your heart!
A good reminder of our Father’s love for us.
