Tennis skirts are all the rage right now. Years ago, the only people who wore them were people who were actually headed to the courts. Not anymore! You can wear them anywhere you’d wear shorts. If you’re afraid of the length, no worries. I’ve also included some longer versions that would be appropriate for errands, golfing, etc. Either way, you’ll look like a tennis pro in these great skirts! Or pickle ball, whatever you prefer, lol.

Sleeveless Woven Shirt (Large – Needed a Medium) | Knee Length Long Skort UPF 50+ (Large) | Green Woven Straw Clutch Bag (Similar Version) | Two Strap Wedge Heels (Size 9.5)

This knee-length navy skort is dressy enough to be worn on a lunch date, etc. If I wore this skort while shopping, I wouldn’t have to worry about bending over and squatting down to look at items on the bottom shelf. The shorts underneath would keep me covered and worry-free. I love the pleating detail on this skort! Little details like this make a massive difference in the look of an outfit. The pleats make the skort look dressier for an elevated casual look.

My sister swears this is one of her favorite skirts. She wears it as often as she can because it is cute and compresses in all the right places, lol. No wonder! This has Booty Boost® shorts hidden underneath for some extra shaping and lifting. It provides UPF 50+ protection, making it ideal for sunny days, and it’s made from sweat-wicking and quick-drying fabric. Available in classic colors like White, Very Black, and Midnight Navy, this skort comes in sizes ranging from XS to 3X.

This skort is not only functional but also fashionable. The shorts include a handy side pocket—perfect for tucking away small essentials. The skirt has a 14-inch inseam, which gives plenty of coverage without sacrificing mobility. No one wants to flash the fans when racing for a ball! Lol. It features a high-waist cut, ensuring a smooth, muffin top-free silhouette that hits just at the natural waist for optimal coverage. Yay to no muffin tops!

Look Like A Tennis Pro In These Great Skirts – Nike

Nike knows a thing or two about tennis skirts. Made from breathable, soft fabric that feels almost weightless, it incorporates stretchy, sweat-wicking inner shorts and a mesh-lined waistband. The inner shorts provide additional coverage, and the extended length at the back ensures you’re covered from all angles. I love the colorful skirt. It would go with so many different tops!

This is what I think of when I think of tennis skirts. Nike, navy blue, cute length. Made from soft fabric that includes 75% recycled polyester fibers, it features a clever front pleat that lets you move freely as you play. Can you imagine trying to run in a tight skirt? No, thank you! Nike’s Dri-FIT technology wicks away sweat to keep you cool and comfortable, while the inner shorts offer a convenient spot to stash extra tennis balls. Plus, its stretchy waistband ensures a perfect fit that stays in place.

My sister, the tennis fanatic, would look great in this skort since she has skinny legs. (She reminds me of that a LOT!) This is the shortest skort and is a little short for my liking. However, since this is a post about playing tennis or pickleball, it would be perfect. It has a cute front flap and a ball pocket, and even though the 14″ length is too short for me to wear, it makes my legs look a MILE long! (Since my legs are longer than my sisters, I need to remind her of that. Lol!) #sisters

How pretty is this lavender version?! These high-waisted skirts feature built-in shorts and a wide waistband for excellent tummy control. They’re not just practical, with pockets for your phone and balls, but also super cute for everyday wear. If purple’s not your passion, they’re available in 15 different colors.

Intimidate your opponents in this leopard print skirt! These skorts come with a stretchy elastic waistband and are a length. They feature two handy inner pockets for balls and two secure zippered side pockets for essentials like your phone and keys. They’re also made from a soft, breathable fabric with UPF50+ sun protection, so you can play and be protected!

Look Like A Tennis Pro In These Great Skirts – Modest Length

This outfit is one that I could wear to a lunch date, shopping, church, or to a casual dinner. I love the flounce of this skort! It creates a feminine look that would be great for a dressy occasion, but it would still work as a tennis or golf skirt. The skort has pockets, which would be perfect for holding an extra ball.

Here’s a nice length for those who aren’t “short” skirts fans. The COOrun Women’s Athletic Skorts offers a stylish and practical solution for active wear, featuring a skort design with integrated shorts. They’re equipped with FOUR pockets, ideal for securely holding small items like your phone or tennis balls while you’re moving. Would you even know this was considered an “athletic skirt” if I hadn’t told you?

I love the seams on this skirt. It’s giving me wetsuit vibes, lol. This skirt features an outer layer made from a blend of 87% polyester and 13% spandex, meaning it will stay soft and wrinkle-free. Another plus! If you aren’t a fan of skirts that look like diving, there are many other fun options at the link.

Yes, I love this trend! Over the past two years, I’ve purchased several similar skirts from RipSkirt Hawaii. Most of their skirts are wrap skirts with pockets and are available in 4 lengths. They also have a shorter “sport skirt” version that is not a wrap skirt but has knit shorts underneath. It could definitely be worn for tennis. Like you, I’m a fan of wearing these type of skirts for errands, shopping, lunch, etc! Thanks for your suggested items!
