LONG FLORAL MAXI DRESS FOR SPRING

March is almost at an end and I can’t believe how fast this year has flown by. It only seems like yesterday that I was trying to think of some resolutions or goals for myself. I have done well with some and then there are others that haven’t quite stuck with me. Of course, the great thing is that we can still make those adjustments if we just will. I sat outside on my patio yesterday afternoon and enjoyed the sunshine and warm weather. It was so windy that I was thankful that my name wasn’t Dorothy and that I didn’t live in Kansas! Lol!It has been ages since I tried to sit outside and write my blog so I had forgotten how aggravating my white cat can be. She wants to constantly rub on your legs which wouldn’t be so bad except she sheds like crazy. I tried petting her to see if that was hat she was wanting. Then, I tried bribing her with food (that usually works for Joe) but that didn’t do the trick either. Then, I put my legs up in another chair across from me but she just jumped up in the chair. Finally, I just gave up and she won. Doesn’t that remind you of the way your kids were when they were little? One track minds and the never give up attitude. Lol!!!How cute is this little maxi sundress??? This Entro dress was one that I bought last year at a local boutique in town. It is perfect for this year since floral are all the rage! The dress actually has spaghetti straps (see here) so I added the long cardigan for a little extra warmth. I am not quite ready to be wearing spaghetti straps yet, I am too white and I haven’t been applying my sunless tanner consistently yet. This dress is made with alternating panels and it reminds me of the Gunne Sax dresses that I wore in the 70’s. Do you remember those? The pattern is somewhat similar. If you don’t see one here just check out the websites because there are tons of floral dresses in the stores right now.

If I am wearing navy then my go-to jewelry is normally gold. It could be because blue and gold are the colors of the high school here in town or it could be because the gold just pops off of the navy. The Dakota earrings were not for the faint of heart. This huge 4″ gold metallic leather earrings really bring attention to your face. Unfortunately, they are also sold out but I didn’t see them on the retiring list so maybe they will be restocking these later. The shorter gold tooth necklace is the Vivi. This is in low stock but is still available right now. I wear this necklace a lot because it fits in the void left by a lot of v-neck tops. The long half-moon necklace was one that was part of a Plunder Posse one month. The Posse is a subscription service that ships out once a month from 1 to 3 different items for the cost of 25.00 and that includes shipping and taxes. There are no enrollment or cancellation fees. There are a lot of colors on this dress so I could have picked from a wide range of colors when it came to adding a cardigan. I actually had this same cardigan in a bronze on first but ended up wearing the blue one instead. This long cardigan is by Lisa Rinna and I see that it comes in Olive, Brick, or Gray. These are more toward the fall colors and she has the same style cardigan in spring colors of lavender, very light gray/cream, and medium gray. I am so glad that so many of you are enjoying all of the dress looks.
