IT IS TIME FOR A TRY-ON SESSION FOR SPRING

“Give a woman the right lipstick, and she can conquer the world.” Give a woman a lipstick shirt, jeggings, and a pair of pink pumps, and she will turn every head that she meets. Y’all, I haven’t done a try on session in so long, and you are going to love this one today. It only has a few items, but you can mix and match them to create many outfits, and each one of them is beautiful.

Before we start with this first outfit, did you see my post yesterday? I mentioned that Joe and I bought a house that is 1 1/2 hours away from where we currently live. Some of the pros of the house are that it is closer to my mom and dad and my son, who lives in Tennessee. There are stores for shopping opportunities, this is where I already go to the doctor, and the house is not far from the interstate. The cons are that I won’t have my other son living next door, Joe and I will have to drive to go to the lumber company on days we need to work, and my grandchildren won’t be able to walk out the door and be at my house in less than 30 seconds. UGH! You know the one that is killing me!!!

Look how cute this outfit is!!! I am so in love with the lipstick blouse, and I think that it is unbelievably cute. When I saw it on the website, I was underwhelmed. However, in person, I was enamored. I am wearing a size 1, and the blouse fits me great.

I am wearing the blouse with a pair of PULL ON Jeggings. Is there anything more comfortable than pull on jeggings??? This is like leggings married a pair of jeans, and this is the comfortable baby. Lol! I am wearing the dark color Jackson Indigo, but they are also available in a light wash. The size that I am wearing is my usual size .5, and they fit me really well.

This sleeveless black blouse (which is also available in red and ecru) has a y-neck and button details that draw your attention. I love a top like this because they are so versatile. This blouse can be worn all year round by adding it under a jacket or cardigan in the winter and by itself in the spring and summer. I have the top tucked in, but it hits me below the hips, so it is flattering when worn loose. I am wearing a size 1 in the blouse.

Look at how the raspberry color faux suede classic jacket pops against the black background. I wore the blue version of this jacket the other day, but I think the raspberry suits me better. The jacket’s classic design caught my attention, but it is the softness of the faux-suede material that I am loving. The sheen of the faux-suede is very luxurious, and it looks rich. This is a lightweight jacket that will be perfect for the spring weather that will be here before you know it. The jacket runs true to size, and I am wearing my usual size 1.

Do you know how you will look at something for a long time, then you finally order it, and you are so glad that you did? I had been eyeing this colorful tweed handbag for a while, and I finally put it on my “must-have” list. Look at these gorgeous colors; I can’t believe that it took me so long to put this in my cart. I will carry this tote all spring long, and it will go great in the fall also.

If your style runs more toward the classics, then you are going to love this outfit. Black and white is a classic combination, so you can never go wrong with this pairing. I went with a column of white in today’s outfit, and then I added the black and white polka dot cardigan.

You know that I love a v-neck sweater, and this ecru pullover is perfect for layering with your favorite cardigan or jacket. The sweater is lightweight, and it will be perfect for spring weather. This is a basic item that you can wear for years, and it will be one that you will love. I am wearing my usual size 1, and it fits me great.

I love that the black and white polka dot sweater’s pattern extends to the back. Some clothing only has the printed pattern only on the front, and I love it when the design goes all the way around. The long length is flattering, and the pattern is classic, so you can’t go wrong with this purchase. I am wearing a size 1, and I think that it fits great.

These ankle pants are the BOMB-DIGGITY! I think the large cuff sets these ankle pants off, and that detail makes these pants. These pants are polished looking, and you can wear them to any fancy event, but you can also pair them with a casual sweater. That makes the pants so versatile and perfect for this spring and summer. Can you say bridal showers, Mother’s Day, or an informal wedding? I am wearing a size .5, which is my usual size when ordering at Chico’s.

I have had these pointy-toe block heel shoes for quite a while. Who would have thought that these would still be available online? You need to grab them as soon as possible if your size is available. These do run true to size, and I am wearing my usual size 9 in these.

I hate that this photo is so dark, but I wanted to show you the cute heart earrings that I have on. These are the palest pink Rose Quartz color, and I think they are adorable. Of course, they are perfect for Valentine’s Day, but I think that they are cute to wear all year long.
