I’m Celebrating National Lipstick Day with City Beauty

Tomorrow is National Lipstick Day! This is a reasonably new National Day since it only started in 2016. I’m celebrating National Lipstick Day with City Beauty, and they are having a BOGO on all shades of their City Lips plumping lip gloss that has won two Good Housekeeping awards. Starting today through the 31st, you can purchase one City Lip product and get one for FREE by using the code TANIA50 at checkout!

I have this one friend who has raved about City Lips for years. Every time we were together, she would rave about City Lips. I was curious why she loved the product so much, so I went online and ordered some for myself.

“City Lips is a plumping Lip Gloss that gives you both an immediate and long-term solution for your lips. With innovative ingredients that helps restore healthy lips, it delivers deep hydration for instant plumping, long-lasting comfort, and smooths out lip lines & wrinkles.”

  • Stimulates new collagen development with peptides that work alongside your current collagen production system for long-term plumping.
  • Provides instant fullness, definition, & hydration with long-lasting plumping benefits
  • Diminishes and fades the appearance of fine lines and wrinkles
  • Work safely, painlessly and without irritation or numbness

I’ve never been a fan of glossy lip products because they are gooey, so I was fully expecting to feel the same about this one. I decided to give it a chance, though, and I’m so glad I did. I carry one in my handbag and use it several times throughout the day. I use City Lips Night Oil at night, and my lips still feel moist when I wake up in the morning. City Lips Night Oil isn’t included in this sale, but I love this product. The Night Oil has sold out again; City Beauty can’t keep it in stock since it is so popular. Take my word for it; sign up to be notified when it is back in stock (September) and order multiples. I think I’ll order about SIX!!!

Because I like matte lipstick more than gloss, I ordered City Lips Matte in Pink Taupe and Rosy Mauve. The color I am wearing here is Rosy Mauve, which might be my favorite. I see why my friend has raved about these products for years. I’m so glad she shared what she loved because I now love the products too!

I appreciate City Beauty for allowing me to tell all of you about this incredible BOGO sale with my TANIA50 code, and I have already messaged my friend so she can take advantage of it also. And, a BIG thanks to all of my readers for supporting brands that allow me to bring you new and fresh ideas.

I am looking for a lipstick that doesn’t smear.
    Does City Beauty stay put?

    1. Jean, this is more of a gloss which means that it will need to be reapplied after eating, etc.

  2. Thanks Tania. I tried the product last year and love it, so I just ordered two more. Have a great day.

Yes to lipstick always. Most important makeup item for me, even ahead of mascara. It brightens my entire face, including my eyes. Without it I look sick … or worse. I shudder to think how many dozens of dozens I have. OCD. I carry 5 or 6 colors with me at all times, along with lipliners and lip primers.
