IF I HAD A RETIREMENT UNIFORM, THIS WOULD BE IT

My daughter asked me if I wanted to go to a local shopping mall, and I, of course, said, YES! I didn’t fall off the turnip truck yesterday; I read between the lines and knew she meant, “I’m going shopping. Do you want to come along and pay for my things?” If I am going to pay for her things, I’m going to make her work for it. Lol! So, she got to photograph a small try-on haul you’ll see later and grab pics of my “retirement uniform” also.

Last Saturday, I did a post (HERE) on leggings, and it was an overwhelming favorite. Many of you had tried this brand before, and you were already a fan. Some of you were like me; you had heard of them and wondered if they would live up to the hype. I tried the above outfit, and I was hooked! So, I quickly placed another order (it helped that some items were on sale), and I’m bringing those to you today. Someone else mentioned another retailer they liked, and the price point was more affordable. I’ve ordered some things from them, and I’ll let you know my thoughts once I’ve tried them on.

If I’m going to be out and about for a while, I want to be comfortable. Who am I kidding??? I want to be comfortable every day of the week. Lol! When I get out of bed in the mornings, I usually throw on leggings and a t-shirt to work in before I shower and get cleaned up. Sometimes a neighbor or a delivery person will ring the doorbell, and I want to be presentable when I open the door.

Nulu Short Sleeve T-Shirt

Since I hadn’t tried this brand before, I wasn’t sure of the sizing when I placed my first order. The white top above was a tad large on me, so I sized down for this Back In Action Short Sleeve T-Shirt in Lunar Rock. The tee is soft, comfortable, and lightweight. This color is unusual, and at first, I wasn’t sure I was a fan, but it has grown on me. It is the buttery softness that gets me with this brand; I am hoping they will come out with a loose top like this with a v-neck. I’m wearing an 8 in this color, and I was wearing a 10 in the white tee above.

The great thing about this tee is that you look as cute going as you do coming. Your bum is completely covered, so I don’t care who walks behind me when I am out running around town.

I’ve been wearing these Sperry Crest Vibe Canvas Sneakers for a few years. I LOVE the no-tie laces, and even though the canvas shoes get dirty, I throw them in the washer, and they come out just like new. They run a little big, so I sized down to an 8 1/2 instead of my usual size 9.

Everywhere Belt Bag

The Everywhere Belt Bag is as handy as a pocket on a shirt. Lol! That is one of Joe’s favorite sayings, which is true about this bag. I love carrying it when I’m running errands since it holds my phone, lip gloss, AirPods, and keys. This is one of their best sellers, and it sells out all of the time. I saw it was back in stock earlier this week, and now the only color available is Autumn Orange. Here are a few more, and there are many colors in each of them, including black.

Align 25″ Leggings

The Align Leggings I wore last week were the 23″ crop version, and these are the 25″ ones. I wanted to try the longer ones, and since these were on sale, I figured it was the perfect time to try them. Because I ordered the 23″ crops before, I knew that a size 10 was perfect for me. The 25″ leggings are on Final Sale, so you can’t send them back, but since I knew my size, I wasn’t worried. These fit me just as well and are buttery soft to the touch. I bought these and a few other items and will share the colors I purchased. The widget (how I show my links) won’t let me change the photo to the items, so I can’t show you the color or pattern.
