Saturday style calls for relaxed and comfortable outfits. Occasionally, I will get fancyfied on a Saturday, but you will find me in something comfortable most of the time. My Saturdays are usually filled with grandbabies, and I will actually even cook breakfast sometimes. Emersyn is a huge fan of brown sugar, oatmeal, and chocolate milk. I think she eats healthier at her house, but at NeeNee’s house, it’s oatmeal and chocolate milk. Lol!
I am going to make today’s post a short one. I’ve got the grandbabies over, and since I blog 7 days a week, I don’t take a lot of time off. Tonight I will color, play cards, and watch movies, so here is how the blog is going to go today.
I am 5’6″ tall; I weigh between 135-155 at any given time; I usually wear a medium-large in tops, a size 10 in jeans, a size 12 in dresses, and a 9 in shoes.
I love this slouchy wide-neck top in a gorgeous shade of blue. The top runs slightly large, so if you are in-between sizes, you should size down. I am wearing a medium in the top, and I love the oversized look. There is nothing tight or confining, which is what I am looking for in my Saturday look. The top comes in several other colors also, so be sure to check those out.
I love this perfect spring and summer handbag. The Isla handbag by Michael Kors is similar to one that I’ve owned for years, and I have carried it to the point that it is looking ragged. When I saw this updated version, I almost squealed in delight. Handbags are my weakness, but it is a great weakness to have.
I also order the matching sweater knit jogger, but I made a mistake and ordered the wrong size. I was afraid that they would fit me too tight, so I ordered a large. BIG MISTAKE, I should have ordered a medium instead. I love everything about the pants, but they were just too big on me.
I love the soft textured knit material, and I have become a huge fan of matching loungewear. Like this outfit, I could easily wear this on an outing since it is very chic looking. Adding a white blazer and heels would totally transform this outfit.
Be still my heart!!! Emersyn has almost quit taking photos with me, but she agreed to do a few today. I walked over to pick her up, and she was so excited that she got to pick out her outfit all by herself.
These two-toned espadrille flats are too cute. I actually ordered in a wedge version in this design also, but since I only need one pair that looks like this, I think that I’ll end up keeping these. These fit great and are very comfortable. I ordered my usual size 9, and I think they run true to size. The flats are under $30.00, and I bet you get a lot of wear from them this summer.
If you love soft and cozy styles, then here are several different items for you to check out.
How To Order:
I am celebrating this month because it is Joe’s Birthday month. He told me that I couldn’t make a big deal out of his birthday. I don’t think that announcing for the entire world to see is making a big deal. Lol! So, randomly, each week, I am going to pick a winner for a gift. The gifts will vary in size and price, and I will pick the winner from the comments that I receive during the week.
This week’s winner is…..Deborah!!! Keep commenting, and you might be next week’s winner.
If you have not signed up, JUST DO IT ALREADY!!!
What is your hesitation???
