I WANT AN OUTFIT FOR TRAVELING IN COMFORT
I am finally starting to recover after my last traveling adventure. Joe says that I am a part of the Traveling Wilburys. I have always heard of the Traveling Wilburys, but I honestly didn’t know who they were or what they sang. So, imagine my surprise when I found out that the group consisted of some of the most famous musical artists known. I must have lived in a cave growing up, or my memory is completely shot because I don’t remember this group at all. I did listen to a song or two on YouTube, and I am happy that I had at least heard some of their songs. It is hard to be a part of a group if you’ve never heard the songs. Lol!
Last night I was chilly, so I sat in the recliner with a blanket over me. I had almost dozed off when my dog started barking and took off to the back door. I was surprised to see a visitor (we don’t get many) and she was bearing gifts! Woohoo, those are the best type of visitors!!! Lol! She was delivering baked goodies and brought in some pound cake and rolls. There were three types of pound cake, butterscotch, peanut butter, and coconut as well as huge yeast rolls. Her mom, Sandy, had sent them to us and they were delicious. Notice that I said they “were,” that would be because they are already gone! Remember, my diet has been to delay, not deny, so I chowed down once my eating window opened up. YUM!!! I love friends who can cook.
This is the outfit that I wore when I was traveling to Atlanta last week. When I travel for a long period of time, I like to be comfortable. I want clothing that isn’t going to be too tight since I will be sitting for a long time. If I am flying on a plane, then I will layer more than if I am in a car. I can’t control the temperature on a plane like I can in a car. So, I dress in a way that I can add or delete a clothing item. This cowl neck poncho sweater from the Loft is one that I grab often if I am relaxing around the house. I love how it doesn’t touch me anywhere and it is flowy and comfortable. If I was wearing this on a plane, then I would have a short sleeve t-shirt on under it so that I could remover the sweater if I got hot. I am wearing a medium in this sweater, and it fits me perfectly. Here is the link to the sweater.
I am loving the lounge pants that I bought from Fabletics. I am living in these things because they are the softest, most comfortable pant EVA. My daughter wears yoga pants all of the time, and she had a couple that was gorgeous while she was here. I asked her where they were from, and she informed me that she bought them from Fabletics and that they were priced 2 for 24.00. These were heavy-duty, really nice pants, so I had her show me the website. I don’t really understand it yet, but it is a subscription service where you can order at discounted pricing, or you can delay and not order anything. I delayed this month since I didn’t want anything. Here is the link to the Heidi lounge pants. And, here is my code for you to use. You can sign up and get these pants as part of your 2 for 24.00 which is what I did. Lol!
I don’t wear sneakers very often, but I do love these wedge sneakers that I bought in November. These Linea Paolo put a modern spin on sneakers and I love how comfortable they are. These have a 2 1/2 inch heel to give you a little extra height, which is great for these pants since they are long. Here is the link to these wedge sneakers.
If you have ever toyed with the idea of joining me in my skincare business, then now would be a great time. Rodan + Fields is offering an incentive where you get up to 150.00 cashback n your enrollment kit. Here is the really amazing part…I am matching their offer. So, you can get up to 300.00 off of a business kit, become my partner, and start earning an income of your own. Here is the link to the kits, and you can email me to set up a time to talk. This offer is only good through January 31st, so don’t delay.
How is your memory???
Have you done any of the following? Walked into a room and forgot why you went into the room? Drove by the place that you were supposed to turn off? Or, maybe you have been telling a story and forgot what you were saying???

I love the top and I love the pants but I would never wear them together as they would overwhelm me. I’d pair the top with leggings or skinny jeans with a lot of stretch and I pair the pants with with a fitted tank and my jean jacket.
Are you doing IF? I am Day 11. You are looking wonderful!
Yes, I started around the holidays. But, since I have been traveling, I haven’t been able to stick with it as well as I would have liked. Now that I am home for a while, I have started back up with the program.
I agree that this outfit would be too baggy for me as well.
I could not find the Heidi lounge pant on their site. The link only takes me to the site. Any ideas?
Cindy, go to Fabletics.com and type in Heidi. If you decided to sign up for their membership, then use this code

You look lovely in these pants.I usually don’t like wide pants, but these are lovely.Love from Athens, Greece
I like being comfortable while traveling or lounging at home, too, but I think this look is a bit too baggy for me.
Love, love, love outfits that are pure comfort and can be worn both at home and while running errands.
About to look into the website with the yoga pants.
Thanks for sharing!
Comfortable clothes while travelling are essential for me. I love that material is getting softer and casual wear more stylish.
That outfit looks so comfortable! I am shopping for something to wear on a flight to Florida to visit my parents in a couple of weeks. Those pants might be on my list.
The Traveling Wilbury’s… One of my favorite groups. They got together in 1988, George Harrison, Tom Petty (my favorite!), Bob Dylan, Roy Orbison and Jeff Lynne. They came out with the traveling wilburys, vol 1 in 88. People loved the compilation of the voices. Our kids were young when the band was fairly new and so we listen to lots of traveling wilburys around our house and on trips. Sadly, Roy Orbison died in December of 1988. The idea for the group was to have fun making an album and then they would go off with their other groups and make their albums with those bands. So when they came back to record another album, it wasn’t until February of 1991 (without Roy Orbison). they released the traveling wilburys, volume three. That’s the funny part of their history is that they only had a volume 1 and volume 3. You have made me decide to dig out those CDs!! Thanks for the journey down memory lane!
