HOW TO LAYER WITH EASE

Have you ever thought that you need a clone of yourself? I know in the cartoons and sci-fi movies that it never works out and there are usually problems but I sure would like to have two of me on some days. Some of the time it is not because I have so much work to do that I need two of me, instead, it is that I want to do two things at once that is fun. Lol! This is happening to me tonight.It is nothing major but I still want to do two things at once and there just isn’t a way to make that happen. We have a team training call that is ALWAYS scheduled for Wednesday night at 9:00 pm. There have been times when I have had to miss the call but this week I have to help with the call so I can’t miss it. At the very same time, there is going to be another call that I would like to listen to in order to get some information. I literally can’t do both so my priority is to the team. This was the way it was when Ashleigh and Joseph both had ballgames on the same night but in different cities. Joe would have to go with one and I would go with the other. I wonder if I can get him to listen to the other call and take notes. Lol!! You have no idea how FUNNY that really is. Hahahahahahahaha!This was a super cute top that I got in this month’s Trunk Club shipment but in the end, I decided not to keep it. It is a mix media type top which means that it had the white undershirt built into the top. My DIL is great at wearing shirts like this, she will take the kid’s summer clothing and add a turtleneck or button-down shirt under the top and it looks so cute. I forget about doing this or I feel like I have a big bump under the shirt from the buttons. A top like this with it built in takes the guesswork out of the equation and there are NO bumps. There might be one or two bumps but since those are from my fat rolls I don’t think that I can fix that easily. Anyway, even though this shirt was in a current shipment it must have already sold out but I found a few similar ones for you.

Silver looks great against the dark navy but I admit that I like gold with navy also. The Sam earrings are one of the longest earrings that I have. They are 3.5″ long but I love the movement from the silver dangles. I think these are very nice! I wore my Bree necklace. Someone mentioned the other day when I wore this that they were confused about the “S.” Lol!!! It stands for my last name, Stephens. The Colleen necklace combines silver, gold, and pearls and then adds a long chain tassel for a fabulous look. The “S” is not attached to the disc so it has some movement when you walk. It is hard to see my bracelets which is just as well since they are both sold out at this time. Haha!I stinking love these pants. I already know that some of you are not going to be a fan of the fringed hem trend that is huge right now. This pair of jeans is more than I normally spend for jeans but I couldn’t help myself. I know that I will get a ton of wear from them this year so I decided to splurge on myself. These are thick so you don’t see any panties showing through. But while I am talking about panties, when you wear white pants you need to wear nude or beige panties. Some people make the mistake of wearing white but those will show up against your skin. The last pack I bought were some cheap ones by Jessica Simpson that had mesh backsides and no seams at all. Those are perfect for wearing with white pants or any tight pair of pants or leggings. This pair of jeans has a 27″ inseam and I am wearing a size 30. They are snug but I don’t know what size I would normally wear.I will tell you right now that I am not a fan of these shoes. If they didn’t have such a large platform then I would love them. I like the navy and the gold chain embedded in the espadrille sole but I just can’t stand the high platform. I must not have been a product of the 70’s. Lol!
