CAN YOU WEAR WHITE BEFORE MEMORIAL DAY

When I wear classic black and white I tend to pick out pearls for my accessories. Pearls are a classic also but this jewelry set is also trendy. The Rosemary necklace is such a statement piece of jewelry. The different floral designs using seed pearls are beautiful. The matching Lorelei earrings have a 2.25″ drop and the same floral design as the necklace.
Black pumps!!! I really don’t need to say much more than that. These are classic and you can wear them with almost anything. If you do not already own a pair then I highly suggest that you go shopping. I will link a few pairs but you can always go to a store near you and try them on. Buy a “good” pair since they are classic and won’t go out of style you will be able to wear them for years. This pair is by Coach. I think this is my first pair of Coach shoes and I love them.
I know a lot of people are still stuck on the don’t wear white after Labor Day and not before Memorial Day but did you know why this was ever a rule? The reason is all about snobbery. It was a way that the women with “old” money could distinguish between them and the “new” money people. It didn’t matter how much money you had, you had to dress by “their” standards or they would simply look down their noses at you. So, there was nothing practical about the rule, nothing really fashion orientated about the rule, it was just a way to distinguish the social classes. WHAT??? So, throw that old antiquated rule out the window and feel free to break out those white pants. If anyone mentions the “rule” to you then you can inform them how they are WRONG in their thinking. This is 2018, not the 1890’s.
Oh my goodness!!! Rodan + Fields has done it AGAIN!!! They are offering an incentive that is insane, but only through March 12th. Check it out on my Incentives page. You will kick yourself in the tush if you don’t. Lol!
Today is the last day to enter into a drawing for a $25.00 gift certificate towards the purchase of a Rodan + Fields product. Check out my favorites page that I made for Rodan + Fields and then comment below what intrigued you the most. The Favorites page and an Incentive page can be found at the very top of the page is a dark blue header strip with categories. Hover over the Rodan + Fields category and a drop-down menu will appear. I’ll give away the certificate on Wednesday to give everyone time to enter the contest.

Super slimming!!! Love this lool?
I wear white when I want to. I don’t need a calendar to tell me when!!
I agree that I think white pants before Memorial Day has more to do with the part of the county you live in than your anything else these days. No one does it when there is snow on the ground thru March and April and you have to have your snow boots on and shovel in hand where I live. Same goes for white shoes and open toed shoes. Too cold and too summery looking for we northerners. I would be curious what your daughter in Alaska says she sees there.
Beautiful as usual! Love your blog!
I love that top!
I love this outfit! And the jewelry goes great with it!
Cute outfit but no white pants here. Small town of 500 and you “just don’t do it”…LOL. Plus, we have had a blizzard the last two days and schools and some businesses have been closed. I can’t tell you how much I want spring and warm temps to arrive. Tania, what brand of jeans do you have on…they look cute and I like that length? I love that you have a vision for a studio and will be excited when you are using it. I regret not having any hobbies as my days are long this time of year.
I believe it depends on which part of the country you live in. I live in Texas. I have always started wearing white pants and sandals after Easter. Then it is spring to me, but I never wear them after Labor Day. Somehow that is wrong.
