HAVE A HOLLY JOLLY CHRISTMAS

I am finally starting to get the Christmas spirit. Today was the Christmas parade in my little town. There is a Christmas movie that has just been released named, Believe. It stars a gentleman named Ryan O’Quinn, a local boy that moved to California. Last year the producers came to town and filmed a couple scenes for the movie.Ryan and the producer were the Grand Marshalls of this year’s parade. A local theater guild wanted to be in the parade since they did a play on Christmas Vacation. They asked if they could decorate our RV and ride it in the parade. We agreed and Joe drove it down to the town for them to start the decorating.I have no idea why the youth minister at our church was on top of our RV. Lol! I just hope he had on some shorts. Hahaha!This is one of my favorite sweaters. It is a solid color so and it is black so that makes it easy to wear and it will go with anything. I bought this sweater at TJ Maxx and they had it in a couple colors then, but they do not show it on their site anymore. Here is where I wore it last year, and if you have wondered about when I call everyone “gurls” you can read about that in the same post.

How do you like this cute pair of earrings? I finally got around to ordering them since they matched my initial necklace. The longer necklace was a “special” called the Wynne, which is no longer available. I had read from some of the other ladies that bought this that is clinked and made a huge racket. I sounded like jingle bells the entire day.I was trying to show you my manicure. It is a Christmas red but what is different is that it is a matte finish, no shine at all. It has been raining for a couple of days so I brought out my red Hunter boots. This was a pair that Joe bought me for Christmas (I knew about this pair) but he surprised me with a Tiffany blue pair also. Here is the story about that. He is a sweetheart, I need to start dropping hints about what I want this year. Lol! The pair in the middle is the short version for those of you who don’t like TALL boots.

I’m showing my necklace in this picture, but I am going to tell you about my pants. Aren’t these cute? They are little Christmas Teddy Bears, complete with the Santa Claus hat and coat. This was one of the pairs that I bought for 5.00. I’ve worn them once and I’ve already gotten my monies worth. Haha! I know some of you worry about wearing leggings, you think your legs are too big and everyone will look at you. These make your legs look smaller, (they don’t have a lot of extra material hanging) and I can promise you that nobody but you even notices. I see my flaws in every picture I post, (my hair looks flat, my lipstick is the wrong color, I have a funky look on my face) but you probably only see “me.”

Many of you have friended me on my personal Facebook page and you might have seen that I asked for some of your favorite Christmas movies to help out me in the “spirit.” That was so much fun, I loved seeing all the suggestions, it was amazing how many of these shows that I had not watched. If I see any of them come on the television, I will try to watch them and tell you what I think. For now. I am just going to be singing, “Have a Holly Jolly Christmas, it’s the best time of the year.”
