Holiday Outfits From Kohl’s For Women Over 50
Today, I styled four holiday outfits from Kohl’s for women over 50. Three of these outfits are causal and can be worn now and later in the year. However, one outfit is snazzy, elevated, and a statement look that will make you want to start planning a party. Take 15% off now till 11/9 with code YOUGET15 😊
Corduroy Holiday Outfits From Kohl’s
Holiday outfits don’t all have to be sequins or red, green, silver, or gold. I like wearing something warm, stylish, and versatile. Versatility is my main objective for holiday wear. I want to be able to wear my clothing more than one or two times during the holidays, so I look for items that can be worn now and later. The corduroy Seabourne High Rise Wide-Leg Trouser Jeans look fabulous and are on trend with their patch pockets. I love corduroy, and this color is one I will wear all winter.
This Popcorn Stitching Cardigan is gorgeous and can be worn buttoned or open. Navy and white might not be your choice for a Christmas outfit, but it will look perfect for Thanksgiving. You can easily make this outfit Christmasy by adding a festive pin to the cardigan. I’m wearing a large cardigan, but I think a medium would have been a better fit.

Accessories finish an outfit and make it look put together. The pins above would make a big difference in the outfit’s look, and I never leave the house without a handbag. Most of my handbags are a caramel color since they go with anything. This tote bag has three compartments so you can keep your items separated.
Here is another corduroy outfit that would be great for Thanksgiving. I love the look of the caramel corduroy pants with the white and black and white puff-sleeve sweater.

The black and white Button Shoulder Puff Sleeve Crewneck Sweater is gorgeous. I love the look and feel of this sweater, plus it has great fashion details. The buttons give it a dressier look, and the thinner stripes on the cuffs and hem add a lot of visual interest. The medium fits me great, so it runs true to size.
Here is a close-up look at the buttons.

The Wide Leg Corduroy Pants are similar to the navy ones above. These also have patch pockets, but they don’t have the center seam down the front of the pants. I’m wearing a size 8, and they fit me great.
This Black Satchel Crossbody Bag is sharp-looking and can be carried dressed up or down. I love the pebbled exterior, and the chain straps look fabulous. You can carry it by the handles or the long strap as a crossbody.
I bought these Cognac Ankle Boots in September, and I’ve found so many ways to wear them. I usually choose high-heeled shoes and boots, but I also love these kitten heels. A pointy toe helps to elongate your legs, and that helps me to look thinner. Need I say anymore?!?
Floral Holiday Outfits From Kohl’s
Now, let’s talk about festive wear that looks more Christmas-like. The velvet trousers elevate this tonal, deep teal look.
The Floral Crewneck Raglan Sweater looks perfect with the velvet trousers. I also tried the sweater on with a pair of jeans, and it looked great. The sweater is extremely soft, and I like the wide-ribbed hem. The sweater is available in several colors, and you’ll want to check out the Quicksd Placed Larissa. I love the floral design on it.

First off, these Velvet Wide-Leg Trousers are gorgeous, lightweight and flowy, and too long for me. I have no idea why they are long on me since I always wear a 32″ inseam. I’m going to try them with another pair of heels. If that doesn’t work, I’ll turn the hem up one time and secure it with some hemming tape. Either way, these trousers WILL be worn for the holidays this year!
Velvet Statement Holiday Outfits From Kohl’s
Yes, yes, and yes!!! This is my kind of outfit! Even if you wouldn’t wear all three pieces together (I would), they can each be worn with other outfits.
I literally gasped when I unboxed this outfit. The Velvet Blazer and Emerald Cowlneck Cami Bodysuit look so good together and would look great with jeans or pants. I knew I would love this outfit, so I ordered all the items in multiple sizes to ensure I got one that fit. The medium was the best size for the blazer and trousers. Both sizes fit in the cami, but I’ll probably keep the large. I would rather it be a little big instead of pulling through the chest.
You have to admit that this is a stunning statement look! I will probably add a pin on the lapel for Christmas, and if I wear it for New Year’s Eve, I’ll add these fun earrings.

To answer your question about the time change. I don’t have trouble adjusting when I get an extra hour of sleep. I used to have more trouble when I worked with daylight savings time. My favorites are the jeans and corduroy pants. In my circle of family and friends no one dresses up special during the holidays. How I dress depends on the weather whether it’s hot or cold. I do dress nicer than most people because that’s who I am.
Love the velvet pants. Too bad they don’t come in petite
Agreed!
LOVED the breakfast casserole recipe! It was a hit even with my grandkids!
Your posts crack me up! So true to life! And also, I’ve bought a lot of your suggestions! (And going to get both those cords)! 🤎🖤 Thank you for making me laugh first thing, and making my day better! God has given you a wonderful gift! Have a wonderful day!
Wow! You tried the recipe really fast! I’m glad the grandkids liked it.
You are making my shopping so easy this fall – thank you for these cute ideas. I love the striped sweater a lot!
Love the outfits!!!!
Nice outfits!
All of the outfits were really nicely put together, but that last one was a real stunner! The thing I dislike about daylight savings time is that it gets dark so early, so I don’t even feel like going out after dark. Plus, I don’t have the best vision, so I don’t like driving after dark unless it’s an absolute necessity. (Hubby drives) I do like that it gets light out earlier and helps me to wake up a little easier.
You look fabulous in all of the outfits in this post! Our lifestyle is super casual, so I’d go with one of the corduroy pants and a top that can be worn all season.
Love all of these outfits!
I think the last outfit is my favorite. Thanks for showing different ideas for the holidays.
