HOLIDAY OUTFIT
The Ageless Style Link-Up is today and we will all be doing our own interpretation of a “Holiday Outfit.” Some outfits just scream, “holiday and to me this is one of “those” outfits. There is no snowmen, no Santas, and no ornaments, but this still makes me think of the upcoming Christmas season. I could have bought a bright red round sticker to put on the deer’s nose to make it more Rudolph like. Lol!
All joking aside, you don’t have to go head-to-toe with the whole Christmas look to still have the effect. I have been VERY guilty in the past for wearing what would now be considered “tacky Christmas sweaters.” Did you see the picture my sister put on the blog of me? Hahaha!
I love this sequined deer shirt. I bought this last year at the craft fair my woman’s club hosted. I grabbed it up immediately and wore it several times last years. See here and here, and I also wore it in the Christmas parade last year. This is a GILLI brand shirt. It has held up pretty well but I wish it was a little longer in length. I may try stretching it a little the next time I wash it.
I brought this burgundy bag out of retirement for this outfit. This is a Tignanello purse that I bought last year and I love how it has the pop of red on the sides. If you don’t want the red to show then you simply zip up the sides. Did you notice the cuff I have on? The leather band was part of the Breast Cancer Awareness products that were offered by Plunder and I have added the Tiffany pendant. My daughter loved this and had me order her one too.
I took the vest off so you could get a better look at the shirt but it was cold so the vest didn’t stay off very long. Lol! These are the same jeans that I wore in my Small Wardrobe Challenge. If you have not already read those posts you should do that today. This is a prime example of how to shop your closet to get the most out of clothing you already own.
My “Flasher” pose. That is the name of Santa’s new Reindeer. Haha! I have a pair of Old Navy booties (similar) on in a lighter tan color. This color is so versatile that it will go with almost anything. Booties are great to wear with skinny jeans and leggings, but they look terrific with dresses too.
Now for this beautiful faux fur vest. I have a couple fur vests, but this is probably my favorite. I like the dark rich color and how it looks so sleek. It zips up but I don’t think I have ever zipped it up. It also has a belt that I don’t use either. The belt is tied together in the back and that helps to give the vest a more tailored look.
In the spirit of Christmas, I am going to be doing 12 days of Christmas special for both Plunder AND Rodan and Fields starting on Wednesday. Message or email me if you want to be included in my “Specials” emails. That is where the specials will be listed.

Well well well you look marvelous !
I will just have to copy this look!
Pretty thing that you are. God bless you!
My friend and I are going to a Holiday High Tea at the Mandarin Oriental here in Las Vegas next week. We went last year for my birthday and it is FABULOUS! The Tea Salon is on the 23rd floor with a gorgeous view of the Strip. What should I wear???
A simple black dress always works. I don’t know how fancy the event is, but you can dress up or dress down a LBD.
I would love to be included in your specials. I want to check out the Roden and Fields and definitely Plunder.
Another fun and festive outfit. I really like the versatility of each piece, including the purse. Red, no red ! Sharp, clever idea from the designer. Booties are great.
Such a cute top!! Love it!

I love the colour of those jeans, I’m afraid I’m in a rut with mine. I either wear blue jeans or black trousers or leggings, I think it’s because I think that I’m going to get more wear out of them that way but I can see now that colour doesn’t restrict you and can be more versatile than I thought. Time to be more adventurous!
I used to have a ton of the “ugly christmas sweaters” back in the day! Hey—they were considered stylish then–I’m just sure of it. In fact the week of Christmas, we’re doing a collab about holiday wear and I’m showing off one of my old ones!! It’s so funny to look back at those, huh?
I love this holiday wear—it’s very casual…and any aged woman could wear it!
