50 IS NOT OLD | HOLIDAY OUTFIT AGELESS STYLEThe Ageless Style Link-Up is today and we will all be doing our own interpretation of a “Holiday Outfit.” Some outfits just scream, “holiday and to me this is one of “those” outfits. There is no snowmen, no Santas, and no ornaments, but this still makes me think of the upcoming Christmas season. I could have bought a bright red round sticker to put on the deer’s nose to make it more Rudolph like. Lol!50 IS NOT OLD | HOLIDAY OUTFIT AGELESS STYLEAll joking aside, you don’t have to go head-to-toe with the whole Christmas look to still have the effect. I have been VERY guilty in the past for wearing what would now be considered “tacky Christmas sweaters.” Did you see the picture my sister put on the blog of me? Hahaha!50 IS NOT OLD | HOLIDAY OUTFIT AGELESS STYLEI love this sequined deer shirt. I bought this last year at the craft fair my woman’s club hosted. I grabbed it up immediately and wore it several times last years. See here and here, and  I also wore it in the Christmas parade last year. This is a GILLI brand shirt. It has held up pretty well but I wish it was a little longer in length. I may try stretching it a little the next time I wash it.

50 IS NOT OLD | HOLIDAY OUTFIT AGELESS STYLEI brought this burgundy bag out of retirement for this outfit. This is a Tignanello purse that I bought last year and I love how it has the pop of red on the sides. If you don’t want the red to show then you simply zip up the sides. Did you notice the cuff I have on? The leather band was part of the Breast Cancer Awareness products that were offered by Plunder and I have added the Tiffany pendant. My daughter loved this and had me order her one too.

50 IS NOT OLD | HOLIDAY OUTFIT AGELESS STYLEI took the vest off so you could get a better look at the shirt but it was cold so the vest didn’t stay off very long. Lol! These are the same jeans that I wore in my Small Wardrobe Challenge. If you have not already read those posts you should do that today. This is a prime example of how to shop your closet to get the most out of clothing you already own.50 IS NOT OLD | HOLIDAY OUTFIT AGELESS STYLEMy “Flasher” pose. That is  the name of Santa’s new Reindeer. Haha! I have a pair of Old Navy booties (similar) on in a lighter tan color. This color is so versatile that it will go with almost anything. Booties are great to wear with skinny jeans and leggings, but they look terrific with dresses too.

50 IS NOT OLD | HOLIDAY OUTFIT AGELESS STYLENow for this beautiful faux fur vest. I have a couple fur vests, but this is probably my favorite. I like the dark rich color and how it looks so sleek. It zips up but I don’t think I have ever zipped it up. It also has a belt that I don’t use either. The belt is tied together in the back and that helps to give the vest a more tailored look.

In the spirit of Christmas, I am going to be doing 12 days of Christmas special for both Plunder AND Rodan and Fields starting on Wednesday. Message or email me if you want to be included in my “Specials” emails. That is where the specials will be listed.

I used to have a ton of the “ugly christmas sweaters” back in the day! Hey—they were considered stylish then–I’m just sure of it. In fact the week of Christmas, we’re doing a collab about holiday wear and I’m showing off one of my old ones!! It’s so funny to look back at those, huh?
I love this holiday wear—it’s very casual…and any aged woman could wear it!

  2. I love the colour of those jeans, I’m afraid I’m in a rut with mine. I either wear blue jeans or black trousers or leggings, I think it’s because I think that I’m going to get more wear out of them that way but I can see now that colour doesn’t restrict you and can be more versatile than I thought. Time to be more adventurous!

Another fun and festive outfit. I really like the versatility of each piece, including the purse. Red, no red ! Sharp, clever idea from the designer. Booties are great.

  4. I would love to be included in your specials. I want to check out the Roden and Fields and definitely Plunder.

  5. My friend and I are going to a Holiday High Tea at the Mandarin Oriental here in Las Vegas next week. We went last year for my birthday and it is FABULOUS! The Tea Salon is on the 23rd floor with a gorgeous view of the Strip. What should I wear???

A simple black dress always works. I don’t know how fancy the event is, but you can dress up or dress down a LBD.

Well well well you look marvelous !
I will just have to copy this look!
Pretty thing that you are. God bless you!

  7. You have such a cute collection of TShirts Tania – love this one with the gold reindeer – awesome!

    xx Yvonne

  8. I love this with the fur vest and purple jeans!!! I wore my white with gold deer tunic last Friday with my camo leggings. LOL I’m on day 7 (of 15!) of my daughter’s and my Christmas/Holiday challenge. Today’s outfit is my husband’s Christmas Hawaiian shirt. It has penguins wearing Santa hats, lounging under palm trees. Not at all tacky. ; ) (I can get away with this kind of tacky, since I teach elementary school.) I will be changing clothes before a meeting at church this evening!

I love tacky when you know it is tacky. Haha! I almost wore the “deer” top with “camo.” Deer – Camo, get it???

Such a cute look Tania! I absolutely love all the colors you have put together. You shirt is so fun & adding the vest is perfect for the chill in the air. I need to work more colored denim into my rotation. 2 thumbs up!

Late last night unable to sleep, I was looking at your blog. Reading you were from southwest Virginia made me curious because my father’s side of the family is also from that area. (Tazewell Co.). It is a small world isn’t it?
I really like the sparkly deer shirt. I recently ordered a holiday deer shirt, but mine is a baseball type shirt with the reindeer names written inside the shape of the deer head. Can’t wait for it to get here!
Your blog is a daily read for me.

I was in Tazewell Co. yesterday as I was traveling. It is only 30 minutes away. It is a small world.

I would love to hear from YOU!
