Memorial Day is just around the corner, and for most, that means it’s time to fire up the grill, dust off the patio furniture, and get ready for summer. I shared this post on how to refresh your outdoor living space with everything you could need. But I know many of you like to add patriotic, seasonal decorations around your home and outdoor spaces for the summer, and everyone needs party supplies for entertaining! I love that you can buy it once and instantly have three occasions to use it: Memorial Day, 4th of July, and Labor Day. From colorful bunting and festive flags to red, white, and blue themed table settings, here are some Memorial Day finds to spruce up your outdoor area.

What Is Memorial Day

Memorial Day honors the brave men and women who have sacrificed their lives in service to our country. These courageous individuals have given everything they had to defend our freedoms and way of life, and for those who have lost loved ones, it means much more than a time to have a BBQ. It reminds us of the high price of freedom and the debt of gratitude we owe to those who have made the ultimate sacrifice. It is a day to reflect on their sacrifice and to honor their memory with gratitude.

Memorial Day Finds from Amazon

American Flag Bunting

If you want to go all out, I see a lot of people use this American Flag Bunting on golf carts, front porches, and even tables to decorate with during the patriotic holidays. This is one of those things you can buy once and reuse every year.

Decorative Tray

I LOVE this gorgeous tray. The blue is gorgeous and would look great with some white flowers in a clear vase. Or, use it with some red dishes. Really, it could be used in a ton of ways. There are so many options at the link – go with the white and gold if you want a classic look!

Memorial Day Finds – Wreaths

A wreath is an easy way to change your decor. I love this simple white tulip wreath! Pair it with a bright red or blue ribbon, and you’ll say Memorial Day without being too obvious. You could change the ribbon with the season—green for St. Patrick’s Day, red for Valentine’s Day, etc.

Of course, if you don’t mind being obvious, you could always go with this star and stripes one! I think it’s cool and is one of the best Memorial Day Finds I’ve seen. Plus, you can pull it out every election year to show you voted! lol

Blockprint Napkin Set

At my house, I love an easy clean-up situation when lots of people are over, so paper napkins are ideal. But if you want to set a nice dinner table over the long weekend, I think this napkin set is pretty cute. You could easily use the blues all summer and pair them with a variety of tablecloths. There are some red ones, too, if that’s more your vibe.

Utility Tote

Now, if you’re headed out somewhere for the holiday weekend, this Utility Tote makes it easy to carry everything. Forget having a million bags in the back of your car to bring in. I would leave this in the back of my car all summer. You could keep it packed with towels, sunscreen, and snacks for a day at the pool or fill it with everything you need for a backyard BBQ at a loved one’s house.

Vintage Inspired Cooler

While I don’t own this Vintage Inspired Cooler, I definitely am thinking about adding it!! The vintage-inspired design would look great in our outdoor space and make it easy for everyone to get drinks when they are over. Tie some red and blue ribbons around the handles; this would be super cute!

Red, White & Blue Wax Flameless Candles

How fun are these candles?! You can either pop them in a hurricane or leave them on their own. I love that they are remote-operated and not going to blow out with the wind. These come in several colors, so I might have to grab another set for the screened-in porch.

Red Gingham Plastic Tablecloth Roll

Again, I love an easy clean-up when having people over, especially the grandkids, and this roll of red gingham plastic tablecloths would make my life so much easier. Plus, I love that you can make it whatever length you need. It would come in handy to have at a park, pool, or lake when you need to clean the tables off.

Cornhole Game

I love Cornhole Game (or whatever you want to call it!!) It’s a game that everyone in the family can enjoy and play together–after all, who doesn’t love a little friendly competition? It’s easy for every age. Just let the smaller kiddos stand closer!

Patriotic Pillows

I love that these floral pillows incorporate red, white, and blue more subtly than screaming it in your face. Put them out now for Memorial Day and use them into the fall! There are more colors available in case these don’t match your decor.

Set of 4 Enamelware Plates

If you’re not a paper plate fan, set a festive table with these adorable speckled plates. Having a non-glass plate option makes it easier, especially with guests, to eat without worrying about accidentally dropping your plate.

Patriotic Doormat

Get your guests in the party mood with a Patriotic Doormat. I love this one, but there are a couple of other options at the link. A doormat is a very easy and inexpensive way to decorate, and as I mentioned, we’ve got a lot of red/white/blue holidays coming up. Plus, showing a little pride in your country is never a bad idea!

Pool Float

Does this Pool Float count as a decoration? It does if you have a pool, lol. Keep the theme going while you swim. This is a nice size – 72″x 30″ – and looks very durable. Pair it with patriotic beach towels, and no one will want to go inside!

Bamboo Food Covered Tent

If I’ve had issues once, I’ve had them a million times trying to keep bugs off the food, even inside if the doors are open. I think I’m finally going to have to buy one of these Bamboo Food Covered Tents to try! Joe always says, “They have to eat too,” but they can find something besides my food.

How do you like these Memorial Day Finds? Do you have any fun plans for the long weekend?

I’ve included quite a few more Memorial Day Finds finds in the widget below, but I’d love to hear what else I should add to the list!
