FRIDAY FAVORITES IN HOME DECOR
The other day on Instagram Stories, I asked what brands you would like to see for my try-on hauls. The overwhelming answers were Chico’s and Talbots, which I have already been doing a lot. Also, I asked what categories that everyone would like to see me shop, and the overwhelming answer for that was Home Decor! You gurls have not seen my home, or you might want to see something else. Lol! Decorating is not a strong suit of mine, but I decided to give it the old college try and show you what I am looking at purchasing myself.
Farmhouse Home Decor
Farmhouse decor is extremely popular. This trend is probably due to the popularity of Joanna and Chip Gaines. I love this trend for the neutral paint theme that it has since it is mostly whites, creams, and grays. I am pretty sure that everything that I have linked to below is on sale for Lobar Day, so now would be a great time to get your home decor.

Artissimo Simple Words Gather Recessed Box

Stratton Home Decor “Gather” Wall Decor
The console below is one of the few things that already I’ve decorated. Maybe this weekend I’ll have time to get the rest of my house put back together so I can get the rest of my fall items out of storage.
Fall Home Decor
Fall is in the air, and that means that it is time to get out the fall decor. Since I have started to get my fall decor out, I thought that you might be ready to grab some too.
Gray Hey There Pumpkin Accent Pillow
Decorative Raffia Pumpkin Figurine Cream
Wooden 3-layer Stacked Pumpkins Statue
Orange Thankful Wooden Pumpkin
Multicolored Three Stacked Pumpkins Statue
White Happy Fall Y’all Pumpkin Plaque
Thankful Wreath Reversible Runner, 72 in.
Amazon Home Decor
I see a lot of my blogger friends who have decorated their entire homes from Amazon. The bedspread and the rug below are purchases that I’ve made from there, and I love both of them! I bought the bedspread in the pale pink color, but the rug pictured is the exact one that I purchased. Here are some other items that I am considering.
Set of 3 Mini Potted Artificial Eucalyptus Plants
Felt Letter Board with 10×10 Inch Rustic Wood Frame
Nearly Natural 6ft. Ficus Artificial Trees
Light Gray Serena Comforter Ruched Flower 3 Piece Set
Natural Round 6 ft Indoor Area Rug
48″ Rectangular Gray Storage Fabric Ottoman Bench Tufted Footrest Lift Top
Distressed Silver 7’10×10’6 Area Rug Carpet
The first photo is my bed. I am almost finished in that room, but I am still waiting on my curtain rod to arrive, and I need to order a bedside lamp. The room was so bright that I stuffed the curtains between the wall and the blinds to hold them in place until the curtain rod finally gets here on Saturday. I’ll link to my items below, but the large oversized pillows were a clearance find at Bed Bath and Beyond, and I can’t find those anywhere.

I love the fall shopping presentation! Thanks!
I bought the 7′ Ficus Silk Tree from Nearly Natural for a corner in our Great Room a few months ago and love it! It was the first time I had purchased from them. I think it was a good value for the money.
That’s a cute chest and I love the cheerful Fall feel. I think the wooden pumpkin stack could be repainted into an angel for Chridtmas. Sorry, I have craft issues. I love crafting.????
Love all the items you featured! Fall decor is so much fun, so warm and inviting! Love your console! You did great with that !!! Can’t wait to see more!!!
I have that tiered tray in my kitchen. I have the best time decorating it and adding seasonal things to it. Love your Friday Favorites.
Considering that there are 20 million+ home decorating shows, blogs and websites available, but very few dedicated to fashion for mature women, I would prefer that you stick to clothing. But hey, that’s just me.
I would HIGHLY recommend those artificial eucalyptus potted plants… I’ve bought two sets and use them in our guest baths and half baths. They’re great to add “life” to out-of-sight places and I don’t have to try and keep them alive! Double bonus on that one… 😉
Do you ever shop at Jjill?
Tania,
Love this post! I especially love your console. Is it something that is available for purchase? If so where can we get this? I have the perfect place in my home for this.
Mary Ann, that console is several years old and I bought it from a local shop in town. I don’t even know the brand, but I do know that the store carries a lot of Ashley Furniture.
Love your posts. It’s so refreshing to see a blogger post the sizes and fit to get an idea of sizing when we all are ordering more online now. Also like posts about hair, makeup and home decor.
I am thinking about going gray in my house as well. Choosing a gray is more difficult than I thought. What gray did you choose for your home?
Gray can be a tricky color. I went with Valspar Mountain Boulder.
I tried so many grays and finally settle don Sherwin Williams Repose Gray 7015 and I love it. Not to light and not too dark; just right.
I like farmhouse decor as well but honestly my taste in decorating changes and rather than have to redo everything I stick to classic furniture and add in a few “trend” pieces of whatever trend I like. Otherwise my house looks like everyone else’s. I do have a lot of gray neutral paint but I went with classic blue, green with spots of yellow to punch up the accessories.
I love the colors of the farmhouse trend, but not a head to toe farmhouse look. So, I have a few items that are the distressed barnwood style, and that is blending in well with my new gray paint color.
