Fabulous Finds From Nordstrom That You Can Buy Now

Long Sleeve Organic Cotton T-Shirt and High Waist Ankle Slim Straight Leg Jeans

I always take advantage of any sale I shop to stock up on the basics. We are going into another season in a few months, so I’m buying fall clothing. A white tee (or black) and jeans are one of my favorite outfits. It is classic, and the accessories you add can completely change the look.

I’m wearing a white Long-Sleeve Organic Cotton T-shirt and a pair of Mother High-Waist Ankle Slim Straight-Leg Jeans. The tee fits fabulously, and you can’t see through it, which is a plus. I bought a white short-sleeved tee by this brand and loved it so much that I bought it in black and in the long-sleeved version.

Mother jeans are expensive, plain and simple. I love the way they fit, and I’ll reach for them over all the other pairs in my closet. So, they are one of the few items I look forward to seeing on the NSale. I know I’ll end up getting my money’s worth from the amount of time I’ll wear them. Other jeans I’ve paid less for usually end up being in my donation pile. I’m wearing a size 30 in this pair, but that’s not aways the size I need. This pair runs a little smaller than the other one I’m wearing below.

I had a similar tote years ago, and I loved it for its convenience. The Longchamp Expandable Recycled Nylon Tote looks fabulous as a handbag, and the nylon material is weather-proof and lightweight. I love that it can expand, which is great when you are traveling. I use the bag as a handbag and then will use it as a laundry bag when I’m ready to leave.

This is one way I would transform the outfit. All I did was add a soft and cozy Bearfoot Dreams cardigan and expand the Longchamp tote. Bearfoot Dreams is another fairly expensive brand that I purchase when items go on sale. I love ALL things Barefoot Dreams! I have multiple cardigans and sweaters, loungewear sets, and robes.

I love the textured Twist Raglan Cardigan because it is so different from their other items. It isn’t as soft as some of my other items, but it is still soft. I’m wearing a medium which is relaxed and oversized. Be sure to scroll all the way to the end of this post for an extremely soft BD outfit.

Cable Stitch Pullover Sweater and Mid Rise Flare Jeans

I’m still wearing the long-sleeved tee, and I added a Free People Cable Stitch Pullover Sweater. I love this gorgeous blue(ish) color, and I bought a Crewneck Cashmere Sweater in the same unique color.

I am a sucker for cable-knit sweaters, and I love this version. It is different and unique since the size of the rows is small at the top and large at the bottom. I think this would look great with a white collared button-down shirt that extends longer than the sweater. I’m wearing a medium sweater, and it is plenty roomy enough for me.

The mid-Rise Flare Jeans are also by Mother. Mother jeans are premium denim and will last you for a long time. I recently saw a comparison about buying cheaper jeans versus premium denim. They said that after seven years, the premium denim was still going strong, and the cheaper denim only lasted around one year. I have no idea if this is correct or where they got their information, but I know that’s about right for me.

I’ve been trying to embrace flats and loafers, so I bought these Suede Loafer Mules by Dolce Vita. These are great shoes for early fall since you have enclosed toes but an open back. Your feet are covered and also cool. I chose a nude/neutral color (shocker, I know), but they’re available in many colors. They run TTS and are comfortable to wear. There is a White/ Black Crinkle Patent pair that is snazzy, so be sure to check those out.

Black Cotton Crop T-Shirt and Le Easy Flare Raw Hem Jeans

As I mentioned above, I love wearing a black tee with jeans. I think this is a classy and elevated look that looks amazing without trying too hard. The Cotton T-Shirt says that it is cropped, but you can see that it is probably four or five inches below my belly button. I originally bought the tee in white, then black, and now I’ve ordered it in gray. I’m that obsessed with the way it fits and looks!

The Flare Raw Hem Jeans are by Frame. My first pair of Frame jeans came from last year’s NSale, so I bought another pair this year. I like nice items, but I usually only buy them when they are on sale!!! My niece loved them on me, so guess who went home with a pair? You would think my sister would learn better than to take her daughter with me shopping. Lol!!

The black tee and light-wash jeans look fabulous together, but the look is elevated by the addition of the Large Hoop Earrings, the Chain Necklace and Bracelet in Gold, and the Rebecca Minkoff Leather Tote. The hoop earrings are my go-to everyday earrings, but the chain necklace and bracelet are new additions. If you want to elevate an outfit, these two items are what you need. 

The Rebecca Minkoff Leather Tote is perfect to use as a work “briefcase” since it will hold a small laptop or tablet in it. It looks extremely polished and very well made. If you’ve ever bought Rebecca Minkoff bags before, you know what I mean.

If you thought the tee and jeans were elevated before, check it out NOW! Wow, that is all I have to say!!! The sales lady tricked me into buying this Houndstooth Double Breasted Blazer. I tried on a different blazer, but it didn’t fit, so she went to get me another one. She came back with this one, and I tried it on and fell in love. Come to find out, this jacket wasn’t on sale, and was way more expensive than I would normally pay. Am I sending it back??? Nope!

Rib Sleeveless Sweater, Open Front Longline Cardigan, and Jeans

Long and lean is the look I love. I bought the Longline Cardigan in this beautiful blue color and in warm ash brown. Later, I stumbled across the Ribbed Sleeveless Sweater in the same color and ordered it to create a matching set.

I’ll be honest; I saw this sweater in the store in a different color, and passed on it. I didn’t think it would be flattering because of the ribbing. Turns out, the ribbing is what makes it flattering. I’m wearing a medium, and it fits great. It has plenty of stretch and feels fabulous. The sweater is available in several other colors.

I added the Leather Small Allington Tote and soft beige Pointed Toe Pumps by Same Edelman to the light-wash jeans. When I picked the leather tote up in the store, I wasn’t that fond of it because it was overstuffed with papers. Once I removed all the stuffing, I loved the tote! It doesn’t have separate compartments, so I would suggest putting smaller items in pouches of different colors. One could hold lipsticks and lip balms, one for essentials like aspirins, etc., and another one for jewelry, glasses, coins, or pens.

Barefoot Dreams CozyChic^® Ultra Lite^® Knit Pajamas

Can you say soft, cozy, and luxurious??? You will after you feel these CozyChic® Ultra Lite® Knit Pajamas. I bought this pair in dark gray last year and grabbed them again this year. In the fall, winter, and early spring, I live in outfits like this. I love soft and cozy loungewear and would wear it every day if I could!

I’m wearing a large in the pajamas/loungewear because I wanted to make sure it wasn’t restricting. It is oversized on me and is possibly a little too big. I ordered the medium before it sells out (because it will), and I’ll decide which I like the best later.
