Happy November!!! This is the month of thanksgiving, and I love taking the time to think about all of the things that I am grateful for during November. I always try to be a grateful person, but in November, I try to think of all the things that I am grateful for that slips through the cracks. How about something as simple as lipstick? Lipstick makes me feel that I can take on the world, and it brightens up my face. How many of you have ever put lipstick on your grateful list???
So, for fun, I am going to list some other things that I am grateful for that are not on the “normal” grateful lists. Toilet paper!!! If nothing else, this year has reminded all of us how much we are grateful to have toilet paper in our lives. I’m grateful for audible, the app that reads a book to me. I am busy, and reading isn’t always something that I will take time to do. But, I can pop in my AirPods and listen to a book while I do the dishes, vacuum (haha!!!), or make the beds. I am grateful for websites like Pinterest. Many of you found my blog from Pinterest, but I am grateful for the site because I can find inspiration for decorating, cooking, or crafts. I am even grateful for cozy house slippers. When you stay as cold as I do, these cozy slippers are a much-appreciated item. I bet if you take just two minutes to look around, you will see so many things that you are grateful to have in your life, even if they never make the GRATEFUL LIST.
2020 has messed with a lot of our plans, so I am not shocked that Thanksgiving and Christmas might be next on the list of things that will be affected. Will we all be able to get together? I know that my daughter will probably not be able to make the trip home from Alaska. Flying is one issue, but having to quarantine once she went back to Alaska is another issue. Ordering gifts and sending packages might also be affected since the mail seems to be getting slower. So, I suggest purchasing your Christmas gifts sooner rather than later. I’m giving you several guides today, and I hope that you enjoy them.
One of the things that I am grateful for is that I have friends who are terrific hostesses. I bet all of you have someone like that in your life. These people love to cook and entertain. They also LOVE to share their food and homes with you, and I decided to put people like this on my Gift Guide List this year.
Marble Wine Cooler // Marble Cheese Board w/slicer // Drink Coasters // Apron for the Cook // NEST Hand Soap // Candle and Diffuser Set // Crystal Vase // Monogrammed Cups // Mirrored Candle // Pie Plate //
