DISTRESSED JEANS WITH NO HOLES

Okay, smarty-arty’s, that is all of you who noticed that I said Christmas is SIX months away, and it is instead actually FIVE months away. I have a question for all of you…If a woodchuck could chuck wood, how much wood could a woodchuck chuck, if a woodchuck could chuck wood? Lol!!! Hahaha! I rolled in the floor when I saw the first comment about it being FIVE months to Christmas. I never even thought about it, I figured that Christmas in July would be the half-way point. That makes no sense; it should be Christmas in June instead. Am I right???

I can’t believe I am going to tell TWO stories on myself this week. Lol! This rarely happens, but here we go. My Energizer Bunny Friend and her husband are sports nuts. They go to A LOT of games, and it doesn’t matter if it is basketball or baseball. They are HUGE Louisville Cardinals fans, and they have already reserved a hotel reservation in Atlanta for the final four basketball tournament. No…the season hasn’t started yet, but they are confident that their team will be there. So, when EBF told me that she was excited to hear that the Alabama band was coming to Bristol, I assumed she meant the Alabama Football team’s “band.” I was like, “and…” She kept talking and talking about her childhood and listening to songs. I was sitting there with this puzzled look on my face, and thinking that I didn’t know why she listened to “band” music when she was a child. Finally, she said, “when I was young, we only had three cassette tapes, and Alabama was one of them.” I would have spit out my drink if I had something in my mouth. Even I thought that was funny. Who else in this world would have thought that the Alabama band was the football team, instead of being the ALABAMA band???
This top is an old top that I bought at Old Navy last year. That is still old. I love gingham check; it is one of my favorite prints. I also like an off the should top, especially when you can wear it as a boat neck also.

I am in love with these pants!!! They are distressed, but there are no holes! I know that this will make a lot of you very happy, and I like the patched look. Yesterday’s event was fabulous. We had a great time, and the chips and salsa, along with the wine, might have had a little to do with that. Lol! As my EBF left my house, she picked up the phone and called me. I wondered what she wanted, especially since she had literally just pulled out of my driveway. She said, “go an turn the lights out on your Christmas tree, people are going to think that you are weird.” Do y’all think that I am weird? Lol!
