DAISIES ARE THE FRIENDLIEST FLOWER

I hope that you are having a beautiful Saturday, no matter what where you live. The weather is once again “drop dead gorgeous” here, but I think that it is this way most of the time. I didn’t even go to the beach or pool yesterday but instead chose to hang out with Joe and chill. Being on vacation means doing what you want to do, even if that means doing NOTHING. Lol!
I had to laugh, yesterday when I saw a lot of comments on my FaceBook 50inotold page. I didn’t think a thing about putting the picture of Joe and me as the featured photo, but some ladies thought that it wasn’t appropriate. I think that they thought that he was naked, and that might have been a little too much sharing. Lol! Instead, Joe was heading to the pool because I was going to be tied up in the filming for a while, so he was in his bathing trunks. I thought the “that’s a creepy photo” comment was hilarious. I keep teasing him that he is creepy now and that he looks threatening. That would have been an accurate description since he threatened me for teasing him. Hahahahaha!!!
Here is another beautiful dress that would be too cute for Easter. I love the sweet daisy print on this dress; it seems innocent to me even though I have no idea why that phrase comes to mind. Daisies always remind me of the quote from the movie “You’ve Got Mail.” Kathleen said to Joe (Hers, not mine. Lol) “Don’t you think daisies are the friendliest flower?” I tend to agree with her statement, so here is a friendly, innocent, daisy dress just for you. The one that I am wearing is a button-up shirt dress in size large. BUT, that one seems to be out of stock, so I am going to show you the other style dresses that they have in this same print.

As you can see, I am wearing the Stormy gold necklace again today. I think the monogrammed disc is simple enough to go with almost any outfit. I also added the Margaret Sue earrings that are quite a statement. These are a half-disc with a bold blue colored fringe. I don’t wear these often, but they almost always get compliments every time that I wear them. Be watching for the new Plunder Spring jewelry that will be launching April 15th.
I took this picture before I left for Mexico (obviously) and the weather was chilly, so I added a yellow cardigan to match the yellow centers on the daisy print. My cardigan is very old, maybe ten years or more, and it is from Talbots. I normally keep a cardigan or light jacket in the car with me at this time of the year because it can be chilly in the mornings and afternoons. Plus, I am cold by nature, so I like having one when I go to a restaurant to eat.

I have been talking to so many of the ladies on this trip and hearing about their stories. The couple that we ate with last night were in the ’30s and had two children at home. She is a hairdresser, and that is one of the reasons that she joined Rodan + Fields. She told me that she was like me, started using the products, and people started asking her what she was doing. She told me that it didn’t take her long to figure out that by sharing what products that she was using and letting them know where they could purchase them, that she had another stream of income. Who doesn’t want another stream of income? Lol!
