Comfortable Outfits Perfect For Thanksgiving From Kohl’s

We haven’t had Trick or Treaters come to the door yet, but I’m always thinking about food. Lol! My kids have already been discussing which dates they can all visit for Thanksgiving and what they want to ensure is on the menu. While they are worried about what and when, I’m focused on what to wear. I found these three comfortable outfits perfect for Thanksgiving from Kohl’s, and I thought I’d share those with you today.

Comfortable Outfits Perfect for Thanksgiving from Kohl’s – Comfortable

Thanksgiving is all about being thankful, enjoying time with family and friends, and FOOD…lots and lots of food. You might be preparing the food, going to someone’s house, or maybe even eating in a restaurant. Either way, there will be food, delicious food. So, you will want to be comfortable, and a pair of pull-on jeans is a great way to go.

Jeans and a tee are great basic outfits that you can build on for a Thanksgiving outfit. If you are cooking, you don’t want to be hot, and you don’t want to get a fancy outfit dirty. Most of the time, I cook in an oversized old tee or shirt and then switch it out once I’m almost ready to start setting the table. I love the plum color of this v-neck tee, and it looks great with the coatigan and jeans. You can wear the tee loose if you choose; I tucked it in so you could get a better look at the jeans.

The plaid coatigan sweater looks perfect with the tee and is something I would add after the cooking is finished. I’m always cold, so I would welcome this soft sweater’s warmth after dinner. Why does eating always make you cold after you are finished?

The coatigan sweater looks as lovely from the back as it does from the front.

I added a pair of small hoop earrings and a matching necklace, but I like to keep my jewelry simple when working on the meal. I don’t want a longer necklace since it might get in the way when I’m cooking. Unfortunately, the necklace sold out quickly, but here is one that is similar.

Comfortable Outfits Perfect for Thanksgiving from Kohl’s – Elevated Casual

This Comfortable Outfit Perfect for Thanksgiving from Kohl’s is similar to the one above but slightly more elevated. The concept is the same: a pair of jeans but with a turtleneck instead of a tee. I think this outfit is one that you would wear if you were going to someone else’s house or out to a restaurant.

These High Rise Sculpting Bootcut Jeans fit me like a second skin but in the best possible way. They are comfortable and have enough stretch to accommodate a good meal, but they aren’t a pull-on style like the pair above. I would probably wear this pair the most since I like my jeans to have working pockets.

I LOVE the colors of this Plaid Single-Button Longline Blazer!!! The blazer could be worn for Christmas and Valentine’s Day, and it would look great with a dress. If the pink and red combo isn’t your cup of tea, the blazer is available in several patterns and colors.

The Black Ribbed Turtle Neck Sweater can be worn all fall and winter and is a great basic for layering.

I love wearing pumps with jeans to elevate the look. These Black Leather High Heels are true to size and fit and look great. However, you could wear a flat, loafer, or a wedge if these pumps wouldn’t make your feet happy.

Comfortable Outfits Perfect for Thanksgiving from Kohl’s – Casual

For those who live in a hot area, you probably are already fanning yourself just looking at the coatigan and blazer. I get it! I live in the mountains of Virginia so we will be in the 30s or below, but if you are in Florida, Texas, etc., your Thanksgiving could still be in the 70s. Don’t worry, I didn’t forget about you.

I can feel your excitement through the internet! Look at how cute this cotton Puff Sleeve Button-Down Shirt is!!! There are times I look at this shirt and see flowers and other times I see an animal print. What do you see?

If you answered, “A gorgeous top that is perfect for Thanksgiving,” give yourself a gold star. Here is a close-up of the puff sleeve detail; you can see the shirt’s print better. The shirt is available in several colors, so be sure to check it out.

Those who don’t live in the warmer states might want to add this Closureless Blazer. The 3/4 sleeves have rushing to give them a pushed-up, casual look.

As you can see, the puff sleeve of the top doesn’t create bumps and lumps. I never button a jacket or blazer, so the no-button look is perfect for me. I’m wearing a large, which is a tad bit too big. You might want to go with the small size if you are between sizes.

I LOVE these Suede Dress Loafers. The oversized horsebit is a detail that I find luxurious looking. I ordered my usual size 9, which is loose on me, so I ordered an 8.5 to replace them. I never wear socks, so that might be why they are loose.

  41. I saw the puff sleeve blouse the same way you did. When I first spied it on a rack I saw pretty flowers. I purchased it and a silky tank in the same print. When I got home I started seeing a leopard print. My eye goes back and forth now. I was kinda surprised when it occurred to me that perhaps the designer intended it to be an animal print.

Cute! I love the red plaid blazer.

  43. Laura Garrett says:

I love the plaid blazer in today’s post – so darling. And I have 3 pair of the pull-on flare jeans. They are so very comfortable. I’m a big fan of CeraVe and Cetaphil for skin care. Sun protection is probably the most important thing for our faces to stay young looking, though. I never go outside without it!
