COLD SHOULDER FLORAL WITH JEANS
Joe knows that I will tell anything about him so he is never really surprised when one of his antics is talked about on the blog. This one, however, might get “ME” in the doghouse. Lol! Husbands sometimes do things that make you shake your head and think, “there is no way on earth that I would ever do that.” Let me set the stage for what happened.
Joe had come in from work and went out to take a shower in his outdoor shower. He dried off and went to put on a t-shirt and his boxer shorts to get ready for bed and then he came back into the kitchen and sat down at his computer to play for a while. In a few minutes, he asked me if we had any diet coke because he wanted to fix himself a drink. I told him that he used the last one a couple nights ago. I had already taken off my makeup so I didn’t want to run to the store but I said, “If you will go with me then I will run into the lumber company and get you one.” I guess you can see where this is going………Yep, he said, “sure” and then he got up to leave. When I asked if he was going to throw on his pants he just shook his head and said that since I was going to be the one going into the store that he didn’t see a reason why he needed to change. ? I couldn’t help but think about what mothers always told their kids when they were young about putting on clean underwear in case they were in a wreck. Well, he did have on clean underwear, just nothing else. lol!!! I probably need to apologize to our neighbors. haha haha!
I must be feeling bright and colorful this week after the dress that I wore yesterday. In fact, they are both in the same color of Orange. I might just break out singing, “Good Ole, Rocky Top” seeing all of this orange. I bought this top a couple years ago and it is by Fig & Flower. I wasn’t positive that I liked the sleeves and I haven’t worn it very often. (Here) is where I wore it before on the blog back in 2016 and I like it MUCH better this time. Maybe it is just me that I like better because I look so different. The cold shoulder look is still very much a trend and now florals are also very hot. I guess that I lucked out when I bought this top.
I love this necklace. When I first saw it in the catalog though, I was not a fan but I decided to give it a try. I really like the tassel because it is so different. It is made of smaller plastic tube-like beads that are joined together to give the necklace movement. I can see why they named this the Carolina since it is in a Carolina blue color with a pop of color with one large orange bead. The Lillian bracelet is still one that I am on the fence about. I like all the multi-colored strands of beads but I am not a huge fan on the large dark band that all the strands connect too. I must have sub-consciously positioned my hand where you can’t see it. Lol! 
I love these cute floral print pumps that I ordered early in the year from Old Navy. Unfortunately, they are already sold out but there are more stores to choose from. I really liked these because it was a dainty design and not huge flowers on them. They will go with a large amount of clothing and colors so they are very versatile.
My white jeans are full-length pants but I cuffed them to make them appear like ankle pants. I love wearing white in the summer but I also like it in the fall and winter. So, that is why I bought them in a full-length style so that I get more wear from them. Of course, in the fall and winter, you can always tuck them inside a pair of boots so the length wouldn’t matter.

Often times my hubs and I will need to run out after getting comfortable (no make up, pajamas etc.). The question do i look okay is answered by where are you going the response Wal-Mart and finally you look fine. LOL

Laurie, I about spit my water out when I read your comment about my skin. My skin is NOWHERE the same as it was back in 2016. I had sun spots that were hidden by tons of makeup and my skin was dull and lifeless. But, I do appreciate the sweet comment.
Another pretty color top that pops ! I’m loving my white pants that I finally found but still having trouble knowing how to cuff them.
Sandy, I still struggle a lot with cuffs. I just do a one roll cuff and see if I like it. Then I might do two rolls or one large roll. You just keep adjusting until you are satisfied or are tired. Lol!
This top is gorgeous and I love the way you mixed it with white and gingham! I dread when cold shoulder tops are no longer in style. They are just too cute and quite flattering for most people.

Your Joe and my Mr Mc sound like they have fallen from the same tree. My hubby went to buy himself shampoo yesterday and came back with hair conditioner. He has a bald head lol.
Like you I love white trousers. I have quite a few summer pairs but it seems practically impossible to find any in the UK of a winter weight. However I will continue with my search ?
