Happy Friday!!! This day has been a long day coming for me. I have worked four days this week at the lumber company, and I am ready for some “Tania” time. It is just coincidental that today’s Friday With Friends blogger talks about finding balance on her blog. I figured that if you are anything like me, then you could use all the tips you can get on how to acquire balance. Christine talks about how she found Yoga, and that helped her to manage her anxiety. She is real, honest, and open about her struggles. I love that in a world where so many people only let you see the “social media” side of them. You know, the life where all is perfect, and it is always sunshine and rainbows. I think that you will enjoy meeting Christine and reading her short posts. Here is the link to her blog, Believe in Balance.
Today was a MUCH better day! (insert happy dance) I finally got to go and have my nails done, and it had been way too long. My nail tech was on a nine-day cruise, and I have been putting bandaids and super glue on my nails to keep them from breaking. I get the dip or SNS nails done on my real nails, but that can start to lift after a while. It is like thick hard paint, and as your nails grow, the mixture can begin to separate from your nail. My nails have always been so thin and brittle that I have to keep something on them, or they continuously break or split. You won’t believe the color that I went with this time. I promise that it is nothing like I have ever had before. I blame it on my Energizer Bunny Friend’s daughter because I let her influence me. You will have to tune in tomorrow to see my new nails.
I was doing the Facebook scroll the other day when I saw an Instagram friend wearing this t-shirt. I immediately messaged her to find out where she had gotten the shirt. I laughed and laughed because this is almost identical to what Joe says about me all the time. ? If you have ever taken the time to read my “about me” section on the blog, then you will have seen this statement. “I call my style “classic meets trendy,” but my husband recently branded it “classy with a little trashy.” I think he means someone like Marilyn Monroe (I can dream).” That was the first thing he said to me when he looked at my shirt, “you left out the trashy.” Goodness, what am I going to do with him? I ordered the v-neck style, but there is a couple of other options available. And, I ordered a large, and it fits great. I didn’t want the top to be too tight, and I can always tie a knot in it if it is too big. I also ordered a sweatshirt in a large, and it looked like Emersyn could wear it. ? There was nothing slouchy about that shirt! Here is a link to the website.
The Janine earrings are a white leather feather with a pearl accent, and they are a 3.75″ drop. I like that they are very lightweight because I can’t stand heavy earrings. I wore the white to bring out the white writing on the top. The silver bracelets are some that I wear quite often. I like the ease of the Madijeanne matte silver link bracelet because it is on an elastic cord. The Sheridan cuff hammered looking bracelet features a magnetic closure. So both of these bracelets are easy on and easy off!! That is a big plus for me; I hate trying to get my bracelets latched.
I also added a pair of white jeans by Sofia Vergara to my look today. I love the large cuff, which can be rolled back down, and the small amount of black piping that is on the cuff. These jeans are available from Walmart online; they are not in my local store. But, you can return them to your local store if they don’t fit or if you don’t like the jeans. I have loved the jeans that I have ordered from this brand, and I am ordering two more pairs tonight. If you want to get a sneak peek, then I am ordering this pair and this pair.
Don’t forget to check out Christine’s blog (here) and leave her a comment. She only posts on Saturdays, so you can see her newest post tomorrow also.
