City Beauty Black Friday Sale Starts Now
I love skincare, so I tend to try a lot of products. When I finally find products I like, I’ll try more products from the same company. I believe if they have one product that I love, I’ll probably love their other products too. Here are the new products from City Beauty I’m going to try this month, and they are now 40% off with my TANIA40 code!
In August, I told all of you what to do when your skin is as dry as the Sahara Desert. My skin is dry, itchy, cracked, and crepey, and I launched a plan in August to try and combat the issues. I started using City Beauty InvisiCrepe Body Balm on my arms and legs, and I can tell a big difference. My skin is still dry ( it is a process to change your skin), but it isn’t itchy or cracking. Some of the creepiness seems to be getting better, so I’m well pleased. This is my 4th jar, so I ordered another one because I like what I’m seeing.
City Lips Plumping Lip Gloss is something I’ve been using for almost a year. One of my dear friends was obsessed with this product, and she talked about it whenever I was with her. Finally, I ordered a tube to try it myself, and I love it. It keeps my lips moisturized, and I even apply it at bedtime, so I wake up with soft, moistened lips.
I started taking the Complete Skin Restore Dietary Supplement last August to help with my dry skin issues. I believe that what goes in our body has a lot to do with how our body looks and feels. This product has vitamins as well as Chlorella, Resveratrol, and Quercetin. You can see the complete ingredient list HERE. I take two tablets a day with a meal and a large glass of water. I’m on my 3rd bottle, and since they are on sale, I need to order a couple more bottles.
When I posted about City Beauty before, someone mentioned they loved several of their products, especially the Ultra-Firming Dry Oil. I like tried and true recommendations, so I ordered this for myself. My neck and decolletage area need some serious attention, so I have high hopes this will help. I’ve only used it twice, but I like how easily it applies and absorbs into my skin.
I wore a pair of leggings one day last week, and one of my friends told me I had great legs. I had to laugh, and then I said to her that she only thought that because she couldn’t see my leopard spots. Hiding the dark spots on my legs is easy since I can wear jeans and leggings, but the ones on my face are different. Let’s hope the Illuminating Dark Spot Corrector will fade them away, and if it does, I’ll be ordering this in by the gallons.
Now, let’s talk about the eyes. Eyes are the windows to the soul, one of the first things a person notices when they look at your face. You might have been told you have beautiful eyes or a pretty smile, but no one ever says, “your nose is beautiful.” Lol! If eyes are what people notice, you better try to keep them looking good. The City Beauty Under Eye Recovery brightens the look of dark circles while smoothing the appearance of fine lines and puffiness. I apply all eye products with my ring finger since the skin is tender around the eye, which seems to be the finger that uses the least amount of pressure.
I also grabbed the Lid Lifting Treatment that nourishes and energizes the skin to lift and firm the appearance of saggy eyelids. Who would have thought that eyelids get saggy??? It is crazy, but they sure do, and I’m going to whip mine into shape!
The final product I will try is the Eye Revive Firming Serum. This product hydrates and firms the skin around the delicate eye area. You apply this product to the eye socket bone and not up against the eye. Products can move as they warm up on your skin, and you don’t want them too close to your eye.
The last product I’m anxious to try is the Line-Blurring Wrinkle Filler. The reviews are excellent, and everyone raves about this! This is a spot treatment product, so you apply it to fine lines and wrinkles, then don’t touch it until it dries completely. This product “helps wrinkles appear smooth, lifted, and “filled-in” for an overall younger look — while a light-reflecting powder instantly blurs the appearance of imperfections.*”
*Individual results can and will vary.
I love a good sale, so I stocked up on City Lips Plumping Lip Gloss! I love putting these in stockings for my daughter, daughters-in-law, and older granddaughter. Getting them for 40% off makes me happy! If you prefer Matte, then try City Lips Matte. It is a lip crème that gives long-lasting color and an instant plumping effect and is available in three shades.

Joanne, my skin is much happier now. Lol!
Thanks for the recommendation. Finding beauty products that really work is a struggle.
All products take time and consistency to work. Most of us don’t use them long enough to give them a chance.
Hum… May have to give this a try. Thanks for all the great beauty tips.
You’re welcome, Kelly.
I plan on trying several of these! Thanks!
You’ll have to let me know how you like them.
Thank you for sharing all of your great advice!
Skincare is so important. I wish the younger me had started earlier!
Me too, Kim. I never was able to be consistent with my skincare until I was 55.
I hope you will update your experiences with the Illuminating dark spot corrector and the under under eye Recovery. I am thankful for your beauty recommendations!
I’ll try to do that, Joni!
I love to try the eye and lip products
