50 IS NOT OLD | CHASING AWAY THE WINTER BLUESI have had one of “those” days. It has been a little crazy or maybe it was ME that has been crazy. It started out with my fingernails. You gurls know that I hate having to take the time out of my day to go and get my nails done. I will put it off and put it off until my nails are horrible looking. You will never see me do an up close picture of my nails. Lol! I get a hardener overlay put on over my real nails because they break so easy. I noticed that one of the nails was having a problem and the overlay was coming loose from the nail. You would have thought I would have learned my lesson after the last time.50 IS NOT OLD | CHASING AWAY THE WINTER BLUESToday, I once again grabbed the super glue and tried to glue the nail. The problem was that the glue seemed to be stopped up. I did what anyone else would do and just squeezed harder. Still, nothing was coming out so I squeezed a little harder. Finally, the glue started flowing or gushing I should say. It gushed all down my fingers and into the palm of my hand. I panicked! I wiped off the excess glue onto a sheet of paper I had on my desk. I moved quickly so that it wouldn’t stick and then I held my hands up, fingers apart, and let the glue dry. My palms are still rough and have the glue on them but at least I am not stuck to anythingLol! Then I went to the Post Office to mail a package. I took the tape with me to tape up the box after I picked up the product I was shipping. I got ready to walk in the P.O. and I looked down and part of the product was still in my lap. I had to open the box and re-tape it back up. Next was the bank. I drove up to the drive-through window and realized that I had left the bank bag on my desk. I turned around and went back to my work and then went back to the bank. I am surprised that I still have my head on.50 IS NOT OLD | CHASING AWAY THE WINTER BLUESI love bright or Cobalt blue, it makes my eyes really pop. The cardigan really punches up this look. I put on the top and pants and it looked good, but when I added the cardigan it really looked complete. This cardigan is one I bought a couple of years ago and it is from Old Navy.

50 IS NOT OLD | CHASING AWAY THE WINTER BLUES This necklace is one of my favorites and it is called the Lottie. The Lottie was a Monday madness item but it just came out in the new catalog!!! I was thrilled to see it return because everyone has been asking for it. The earrings are a pair that evidently has been retired. I couldn’t find them in the new catalog. 50 IS NOT OLD | CHASING AWAY THE WINTER BLUES The multi-strand pearl bracelet is stretchy, so it is easy to put on and take off. It was also one of the Monday madness specials that have made it to the new Spring line. It is called the Valerie. The pearls are on little “dangles” so the bracelet has movement but it does not make noise. The single pearl bracelet is the Beatrice. I wore this the other day with the Reece necklace. I had 4 pairs of earrings to give away for those who purchased both items together and they are now all gone. I am thinking April is going to be the month for big things. Plunder is launching a new Spring line. It is now “live!!!” If you would like to try any of the new jewelry then go to my party to place the order. I closed out the last party and re-opened another one. It is www.plunderdesign.com/party/tania6 If you are interested in finding out about all the wonderful advantages to being on my Plunder team just let me know. I am offering an extra piece of jewelry for all those who join Team Shimmer and Shine this month!!! 50 IS NOT OLD | CHASING AWAY THE WINTER BLUES My gray satchel is by Aimee Kestenberg. I bought it last year at the overstock store in town. They purchase overstock merchandise from QVC and sell it for 1/2 price. I really love that store! Haha! The gray shoes are by Sole Society and they came from a different overstock store in town. Yes, we have more than one of these type stores. In fact, we have three of them! 50 IS NOT OLD | CHASING AWAY THE WINTER BLUESThe tiny floral print top is from Ann Taylor. Here is where I wore it last May with a pair of yellow pants. I believe I like this look better. I am actually surprised that I like the top with these light gray or silver pants. I think the top really shines against the neutral background. The pants are pixie pants from Old Navy.

Blue is your color. I love the top.

  9. Haha! Sounds like a typical day in my world! I agree with the blue. It looks great on you and I hope on me too since I just bought something similar the other day only a longer open vest vs. a cardigan. I wasn’t sure what to wear it with since I gravitate to white and black so this gives me another option.

  10. That color blue looks so good on you! I gotta find a sweater and top like yours- love it! Thanks as always for sharing your day, your life and your fashions!!
