CHASING AWAY THE WINTER BLUES
I have had one of “those” days. It has been a little crazy or maybe it was ME that has been crazy. It started out with my fingernails. You gurls know that I hate having to take the time out of my day to go and get my nails done. I will put it off and put it off until my nails are horrible looking. You will never see me do an up close picture of my nails. Lol! I get a hardener overlay put on over my real nails because they break so easy. I noticed that one of the nails was having a problem and the overlay was coming loose from the nail. You would have thought I would have learned my lesson after the last time.
Today, I once again grabbed the super glue and tried to glue the nail. The problem was that the glue seemed to be stopped up. I did what anyone else would do and just squeezed harder. Still, nothing was coming out so I squeezed a little harder. Finally, the glue started flowing or gushing I should say. It gushed all down my fingers and into the palm of my hand. I panicked! I wiped off the excess glue onto a sheet of paper I had on my desk. I moved quickly so that it wouldn’t stick and then I held my hands up, fingers apart, and let the glue dry. My palms are still rough and have the glue on them but at least I am not stuck to anything. Lol! Then I went to the Post Office to mail a package. I took the tape with me to tape up the box after I picked up the product I was shipping. I got ready to walk in the P.O. and I looked down and part of the product was still in my lap. I had to open the box and re-tape it back up. Next was the bank. I drove up to the drive-through window and realized that I had left the bank bag on my desk. I turned around and went back to my work and then went back to the bank. I am surprised that I still have my head on.
I love bright or Cobalt blue, it makes my eyes really pop. The cardigan really punches up this look. I put on the top and pants and it looked good, but when I added the cardigan it really looked complete. This cardigan is one I bought a couple of years ago and it is from Old Navy.
The tiny floral print top is from Ann Taylor. Here is where I wore it last May with a pair of yellow pants. I believe I like this look better. I am actually surprised that I like the top with these light gray or silver pants. I think the top really shines against the neutral background. The pants are pixie pants from Old Navy.
Today is the last day that you can order the Spring Renewal Gift Kit from Rodan + Fields. It contains the Redefine Multi-Function Eye Cream and the Redefine Lip Serum along with a silver metallic wristlet. All this is boxed in a custom floral box perfect for gifting for Mother’s Day, Graduation, or a Birthday. I like the “Because I Am Worth It” day also. Lol! I love your outfit today. I love gray and blue together.
But at least you look great even on an “off day”. Love cobalt! Is that an Autism Awareness pin?
Yes, it is an Autism Awareness pin. I didn’t mention in my blog but it fell off while I was at the Post Office and I lost it. ?

Lovely outfit, I’ve got a cardigan just like that and I always get compliments when I wear it, it’s such a striking colour. Haha, that rooster, I think he got stuck! Imagine living next door?!
