Is it getting warm where you are? We’ve had some HOT days recently. Maybe it’s because I spend so much time inside on the computer, but walking outside can be shocking, lol. Going in and out of stores and restaurants makes it tough to know what to wear. It’s all about the layering! That’s why today, I’m sharing some great basic camisoles and sleeveless tops you’re sure to love.

I know that some of you don’t like to go sleeveless, but these wardrobe staples are perfect for adding a touch of elegance and comfort to outfits. Whether you’re layering them under a jacket for a chic look or wearing them solo to stay cool, camisoles and sleeveless tops offer endless versatility. I never take my tanks out of my closet since I can wear them at any time of the year.

Tanks for summer
Pine Organic Cotton Scoop Neck Tank (Medium) | Lined Pleated Linen Shorts (Size 8) | Hoop Earrings | Bead Stretch Bracelets | Clear 2 Strap Wedge Shoe (Size 9.5)

The great thing about white is that it can be worn with anything! Here, I added a simple Pine Organic Cotton Scoop Neck Tank, which completely changed the look of the outfit. The pine tank can be worn all year round and will look great layered in the fall. I was skeptical about wearing a medium, but I think it fits great without showing too many lumps or bumps.

LINEN BLEND V-NECK TANK

Told you stripes were in! This Linen Blend V-Neck Tank from Talbots is so cheerful! I would style it like she’s wearing it with white pants, but it would be really cute with blue jeans or even shorts. It looks like it fits loose, but the reviews say it’s a tighter fit than it appears. Just remember to turn it inside out and lay it flat to dry to keep it looking fresh!

  2. Love a great tank or camisole. It hit 90 in SC today!

    Lucky you!

  4. Hello, I’m fairly new to your blog (and am enjoying it very much as you do a wonderful job for us) and have a question. I enjoy reading others comments but sometimes feel I am missing something at times. An example in today’s is: Jane made comment that when she saw her hydrangeas she thought the deer had eaten them but I am unable to see any picture (s) except for the one on your main page. Where do I click to see additional pictures? Thank you.

    1. Vicki, the only photos are the one’s I put on the blog, or the one’s in my morning email. I don’t think Jane uploaded any photos, she was just commenting about the deer.

  5. I’m sorry about your hydrangea bushes. I’ve been trying to get a fellow to cut my shrubs for three weeks and he never shows up!!

    1. That might be a good thing.

  6. Susan Weston says:

    Love to layer these t’s!

  7. Love the vneck tops. Yikes about your Hydrangeas bushes.

  8. Paulette Levy says:

Oh no! Feeling sad about your Hydrangeas. My blues are just flowering now- ( such a pretty blue on all 5!) I’ve heard the plant should only be pruned in late winter? Anyone agree?

    1. That’s when I cut mine back. I wait until after fall because I enjoy the blooms that turn a green/pink color.
