Are Boyfriend Jeans Stylish

DSC_0009Here we go with another navy and red outfit. I love that classic color combination. It reminds me of peanut butter and jelly, ying and yang, or Abbott and Costello. It just works. Lol!DSC_0003I wore a more relaxed look today. I went to a wrestling tournament in town to watch my nephew. Grundy is a huge wrestling town with many, many state titles. In fact, Grundy won 12 state championships in a row! However, this was only the 2nd time I had attended a wrestling match. It is not at all like WWE on TV. HahahaDSC_0005I wanted to be relaxed because I really wasn’t sure how long we would be there. I put on this red, white, and blue print shirt from Talbots. I bought this back in October from the clearance rack. It is a light weight blouse, and more for spring or summer. Of course, this particular blouse does not exist anymore, so here is a similar one. I paired it with a nice navy pullover from Cato’s. Here is one from Amazon that comes in several colors.DSC_0004Truthfully, I am not a fan of boyfriend jeans. They are oversized and baggy. I do not need any help with extra bulk. However, if you are really slim, boyfriend jeans look adorable. My daughter-in-law wears them and she is cute as a button. She is also a size 2, so let’s be real, she looks good in everything.
DSC_0002My monogrammed sneakers round out this look. I will admit this is not one of my favorite looks. But sometimes you just have to be a little more casual. I think it works for going to watch wrestling. Beside’s if I look flawless all the time, what would be the fun in that. Lol! Flawless, ha, that is really funny!!!DSC_0001I am really enjoying the pictures that have been sent in already for the Meet The Gurls Blog post. I might have missed it but did you say what brand your boyfriend jeans were?

    1. They are from Old Navy, and I bought them last year.
