BOYFRIEND JEANS AND A JACKET
Do you gurls have a bucket list with places you would like to visit? I am not one who likes to travel a lot but there are one or two places that I want to go and see. These are not even places overseas, they are here in the US. I have always wanted to visit Savannah, Georgia. I am not even sure why, but that town just calls to me.
Charleston, SC has also been on my list and I am going to marking that one off in just a few weeks. I am super excited about that trip and I can’t wait to share all the fun with you gurls. New York is also high on my list. My Energizer Bunny Friend has invited Joe and me to go in December with her and her husband. I would love to go but I also want to renovate my bathroom. What does one thing have to do with the other? I just think that I could take the money that I would spend going to New York (airfare, hotel, food, and SHOPPING) and go a long way towards a bathroom project. So, what do you gurls think??? New York trip or Bathroom renovation?
Don’t you wish you had a blog where you could ask the hard questions? If you gurls don’t give me my answer then I will be forced to ask the Magic 8 Ball or flip a coin. Lol! Today’s outfit is classic. A pair of jeans, a white t-shirt, and a navy blazer is something that almost every one of you can re-create in your wardrobe.
Joe also gave me the look with these jeans. He is used to seeing me wear my jeans tighter so these Boyfriend Jeans really threw him for a loop. I can tell that he was not a fan. Lol!!! I think he wanted me to give them back to my Boyfriend. Hahaha! This is a pair that I bought a couple of years ago at Old Navy. The thing that is great about boyfriend jeans is that they are loose and comfortable. The thing that is bad about boyfriend jeans is that they are loose and baggy. It is all a matter of perspective.
I had a Facebook message sent to me yesterday about Rodan + Fields. A friend and fellow blogger had bought some of the R+F eye cream from me a long time ago. I hadn’t heard if she liked the product or not and since eye cream lasts so long I had even forgotten that she bought it. This morning she asked me to order her another jar. She said that she had lost her jar and had been out for about 3 weeks. I am sure she thought it was no big deal, after all, it was just another eye cream. NOT! She said that now that she had gone 3 weeks without her eye cream and she NEEDS her moisture. It is THAT good! Since I am placing an order anyway if you want me to add you an eye cream just let me know and I will get that on order. It retails for 62.00 but I will be placing this as a PC order so you can have it for that cost which is 55.00 (plus tax and 3.00 for shipping to you) I have also added two buttons on the right side of my blog. I ❤️ R+F will take you to the website to order products and the Join The Team button will take you to the website to ENROLL as a consultant.

I love this !lol tho I have never tried it. But now I have to cause you look so. Stunning ( as always)!! The jeans don’t look baggy but I’m sure your hubby knows how you look beast. Nice that he always botices! I fell and tire my rotator cuff on Fri. Night when one of my grandkids left a stool in middle of floor and can’t use my rights arm so excuse the errors!
Hard question, whether to remodel your bathroom or travel. Our daughter works for an airline, in the past five years we have gone because of the free airfare. Paris twice, London, Dublin, Rome, Tuscany, Venice, Sydney, plus great US places. One of my very favorites is driving the Pacific Coast Highway. So, if I wasnt getting the free airfare I wouldnt be taking advantage nearly as much, who am I kidding I probably never would have made it to Paris lol, but traveling is very enriching and a new bathroom, (which I also DESPERATELY need) sounds good! I figure I go places now while I am still young enough to do it. We stay at airbnb places which are reasonable.
My bathroom is not in bad shape. It just hasn’t been touched since we remodeled back in 1995. It is just dated.
I don’t think the jeans are baggy. Cute outfit. About the shoes…a thought that crossed my mind…if you decide you just don’t like the long fringe, what if you trimmed it, or had a shoe repair place trim it for you? Just to a length you like better. Option?
The outfit looks great! My mom (86) has fringe boots and she always looks great in them. But they are slightly different. So a toss up on the shoes. We are going to NYC in Feb with friends to see a Broadway show and do a little shopping. But we did our BR 5 years ago and love it. So I say go on your trip, fix BR later.
I like the shoes – except the price. The jeans don’t look too loose. I would do both – either go on the trip and then save for the bathroom, or renovate the bathroom and save for the trip. I would love to see those two southern cities too!
Do the bathroom!!! I say that because you see the bathroom EVERY SINGLE DAY! I was in the same boat earlier this summer. I had to decide between a first-time cruise and buying new sofas for my family room. I chose the cruise. I had a great time, but five days of fun hasn’t made up for looking at my old sofas that definitely need to be replaced. If I could go back, I’d buy the sofas instead.
Casting two votes….do the bathroom, and I vote no on the booties.
Love your blog and stories.
Loved the outfit until it came to the footwear but maybe they’ll look better with something else. I bought a pair of booties, suede with a fringe across the back. Felt self conscious every time I wore them so I ended up cutting off the fringe! The boyfriend jeans look great and not baggy, now I want a pair!
Make memories! Take the trip. All of a sudden you’ll be to old or your health won’t allow it. We never know what’s around the next corner. I was planning on a trip to Arizona this past spring and 3 days before I was to leave with the love of my life he died unexpectedly. So make memories every chance you get. The bathroom can wait. No to the boots. The jeans are okay. Love your blog!
Three things: #1 Love the outfit … I am getting the Navy Jacket @ Old Navy
#2 I love the Boots and when you said “Show Pony” LOL !
#3 Redo your bathroom. You live in your house every day. New York has changed and it is crazy with homeless and painted girls around Time Square. The Stock Market area is a good place to visit. The Staton Island Ferry is fun to see Statue of Liberty! But I would go in Summer.
Take a look at NY City online. You are not missing anything.
