Boho Looks For Summer For Women Over 50

Today’s post is all about my favorite boho looks for summer, but long-time readers will remember that I’ve written about my love of all things boho before!

Bohemian is defined as a socially unconventional person. I don’t think that’s me, but there’s just something about summer that calls for light and breezy fashion.

I love to wear big earrings, but sometimes they’re so heavy it’s not worth the pain. These rattan earrings are perfect – fashionable and light! I have these earrings, and they go with all my summer styles.

Funny story: I was visiting my mother recently and gave her a purse to use. She asked what type of purse they called it, and I said a “clutch.” Throughout the rest of the day, she kept “clutching” it against her body. She couldn’t stop herself! lol. Oh well, this lovely bag also comes with a chain, so you don’t have to hug it all day.

You can’t go wrong with a white sandal with metallic accents! These sandals will look great with a cute dress or a pair of cut-off shorts. I love the style, and these are in my cart right now.

I might have gasped when I saw this round beach bag. Straw bags are made for the beach, but this one is a cut above the rest! I love the round shape. Like the picture, I’d tie a scarf around the strap for an added boho touch.

This is so pretty and comes in a whole bunch of fun colors. It is lightweight and flowy, and I love the carefree look. Don’t be surprised if you see me styling this skirt soon.

Isn’t this gorgeous? I love all of the colors! It would go with just about anything, but it would look fabulous with the skirt above. I mean…what color wouldn’t it match? Lol!

I have these belts and wear them all the time! I’ve worn them with everything from bathing suit coverups to fancy chiffon skirts. I just ordered these belts again but in bright candy colors! See below for how I wore the belts with a dressy outfit.

Oh my gosh. I want to LIVE in these pants. Like the skirt, they are available in a ton of colors. They’re like the boho equivalent of sweatpants!

Okay, I’m not a huge headband wearer, but I see women wearing these types of scarves all of the time, and they always look so cute! I may have to break down and buy these. If I chicken out and don’t wear them out of the house, I can at least use them when I wash my face. Lol!
