50 IS NOT OLD | BLOGGING HAS MY ❤️I just want to say right now how much I love blogging. It has nothing to do with the exposure, the clothing gifts, the sponsored posts, or anything like that. I LOVE the comments from you gurls! ❤️ I spent yesterday morning reading the comments, and of course making Joe listen to several of them. I laughed my butt off at some of them and then I will get teary-eyed at others. Bottom line is that I am truly thankful for each of you.50 IS NOT OLD | BLOGGING HAS MY ❤️I am not replying to your comments this week because I am doing the giveaway. I count the comments and have SIRI pick a random number for the winner. I will then go back from the first comment and count until I find the winner. If I make comments it messes with the process. If you have a question please email it to me because I want to give you an answer. Send it to fiftyisnotold@gmail.com and I will try to get back to you. I loved all the comments about what you gurls “do.” I have to admit that the one that really stood out was from Regina, an Obituary Condolence Guestbook Screener. As she said, this is a real job. I bet she gets double takes every time she tells what her job is. That was a first for me, Regina. Lol!50 IS NOT OLD | BLOGGING HAS MY ❤️I wore this outfit to church on Sunday. I was feeling bad with a headache and tight and tense neck. A weather front was moving through and I was hurting pretty bad. I didn’t make it to the early service but I started getting ready for the late service. I came through and asked Joe to finish zipping up my dress. He commented that he didn’t think I was going since I was feeling bad. I told him the same thing my mother used to say to me when I wanted to stay home from school. “You going to hurt no matter where you are, you might as well get ready and go on.” Funny thing, though, I stayed home from work on Monday. Hahaha Before I move on, let me tell you about my Priscilla earrings. First off, I never thought I would like these earrings. I ordered them with the intention of giving them away. Instead, I now find that I love this pair and wear them often. I am not very good at guessing what I will wear. I may just let you gurls vote on what I will order in the new catalog when it comes out. You can’t do any worse that me. Haha50 IS NOT OLD | BLOGGING HAS MY ❤️I am wearing my Tabitha necklace with the added cross charm, Lulu. The way this necklace is made you can wear it long or short. There is a lobster claw, which is where I attached the Lulu charm, and then there is another lobster claw under my hair. You can attach the Pray pendant to both claws and make a choker style necklace. See here for how I wore it that way.I50 IS NOT OLD | BLOGGING HAS MY ❤️ have on the Raelynn bangle which says “I Choose Happy,” and the Abela which says, “Blessed.” I also have a couple of my Alex and Ani bracelets on and my Lindy bangles with my initials. I want to thank all of you who made Plunder purchases last month. It was my best month EVER! I love getting messages from ladies who tell me that they love their items! Because everyone loved the jewelry and everyone loved the discount I am once again going to be running that special again this month. EVERY purchase over $50.00 (excluding tax and shipping) will be getting a 15% off discount check from me. This month there may also be a few giveaways splattered throughout the month. It is Joe’s birthday month and I feel like celebrating!!! To place an order simply go to www.plunderdesign.com/party/tania3 If you remember yesterday I mentioned that I was going to give away a small Plunder item. The winner of yesterdays Plunder giveaway is Michelle Flanagan!!!50 IS NOT OLD | BLOGGING HAS MY ❤️I really love my new Dooney & Bourke tote/satchel/purse, whatever you want to call it. I just call it heavenly. I love this dark teal color!!! It is roomy and it has divided areas, I love that in a purse. I like when I know in what area to look for something instead of everything being thrown around together. Is that crazy? I am linking to some beautiful teal “purses” for your shopping pleasure. Lol!

50 IS NOT OLD | BLOGGING HAS MY ❤️Do you guys remember me wearing this sheath dress before? I was not satisfied with my styling so I decided to try styling it again. I was thinking a little more “Ralph Lauren” style today. An Old Navy denim shirt underneath instead of a white shirt, what do you think? I like the more laid back style instead of the “proper” look. The sheath dress was c/o Chadwick’s of Boston back in December. I love this dress but I really meant to order the lighter version. I am not a “dark” color kind of girl. The dress is on sale right now so if you like it, head on over to Chadwick’s of Boston. I have a beautiful bright blue dress that will be coming up in the next week, be sure to watch for that. Don’t forget that I am giving away a LASH BOOST on Saturday. Enter today by leaving a comment where you live. We did this once before and I loved seeing all the different areas of the country listed. Give a shout out to you town!50 IS NOT OLD | BLOGGING HAS MY ❤️Joe fussed on me and wanted to know why I ordered all that sunless tanner from Rodan + Fields and I had white legs. I told him that I didn’t want to waste my product. I am not ready for my legs to be shown every day so there is no need for them to be all pretty and tan. Lol! Silly man! Since I am talking about Rodan + Fields I will tell you this, I love my products. Period. Exclamation point! But that doesn’t mean they are for you and that is alright. Everyone is different, everyone has different needs and wants. But, I want to help everyone look better and feel better about themselves. Fashion is the first way I trying to help, accessorizing is next. You don’t have to buy Plunder, that is what I like, you can use whatever you want. And the last thing I wanted to help with is your skin. We cannot hide our skin. I have been blessed with decent skin and it is not because I ever took good care of it, I didn’t! Now, after 55 years, I am working on my skin and trying to keep it looking as good as I possibly can. If you are not happy with what you see in the mirror then try Rodan + Fields. If you are not happy with the products you have been using for years, then try Rodan + Fields. If you are completely satisfied with how you look, then try Rodan +Fields. I was just kidding about that last one. Hahaha! I am happy for you! I never want someone to order something they don’t really need. But if you want or need anything then I want you to get the best deal you can for the amount of money you will have to spend. Take advantage of the Lash Boost/Regimen Bundle deal that ends TODAY! If you are not sure of the details then email me at fiftyisnotold@gmail.com.

I am getting closer and closer to hitting the email subscribers 5000 mark!!! Once we hit the magic number I will be having a giveaway! I am going broke with giveaways!

PLEASE take the time to signup. Also, if you would like to share my posts on Facebook or Twitter, I would appreciate that. 1. Hi. I wanted to say I don’t like to subscribe to blogs because I don’t like filling up my e-mail. I put links to a few blogs that I like on my computer home screen so that when I have time to relax and browse, I can click through them. It’s like having a stack of interesting magazines ready to enjoy. Maybe I should get an e-mail address just for being nice to bloggers? What are you going to do when you get so many comments that you CAN’T even read them all? Anyway, I like your blog so you are on my home screen.

    1. You are just too nice. If you are anything like me you have a hard time saying no. I am a people pleaser and try to make everyone happy which unfortunately never happens. Lol!

  2. I’ve been following your posts for about 6 months. I live in Vernon, British Columbia, Canada.

I just signed up for your blog 2 weeks ago. It seems we love the same colours and have a similar style. I love waking up in the morning to see what you have posted and what you will be wearing.

  10. Enjoy your blog so much. Daytona Beach Shores, Florida.

  11. I like the dress, had one like it years ago in RED, but I would not have thought to put it with denim, looks good!! Glad you are feeling better, and I know what the weather does, the changes are horrible. One more coming thru this week. We are getting some rain tonight, (so my body is telling me), here in MADISON, AL!!

  14. Kandi from Westfir, Oregon. A teeny little city, next to a slightly larger city in the Cascade Mountains in Oregon. We travel an hour to go shopping! It doesn’t slow me down though, I still shop too much! I love your blog because you experiment with fashion, but still dress well. I have even stole quite a few of your makeup techniques. So thank you and I hope you keep loving it! You’re a kick!

Enjoying your blog every day ! From Winchester, Virginia

  17. Spokane, Washington – NOT the rainy side of the state, the part with four beautiful seasons (although we’ve all had enough winter!). I’d love to win the Last Booster to try. I have EXTREMELY sensitive skin and hate to buy new things and then have to throw them away after a couple of uses. If it works (without bothering my skin), I would be a lifetime user!

  18. I love the dress with the denim shirt underneath the boots! You look great!

  19. Amanda Harvey says:

I’m from Owensboro, KY where it’s in the 70’s today, and they are saying we are getting snow on Saturday. I love your outfit.

  20. I understand the way you are feeling. The pine trees here are in full bloom and everything is covered in yellow dust. It messes with most of us in the worst way. I’m not as bad as in previous Springs, but I am feeling it. UGH.

    Feel better soon.

    1. Oh, and I’m in the suburbs of Houston, TX!

  21. Marianna, Florida and I just signed up for Plunder Posse! Thank you for letting me know about this great opportunity. Brockton Ma. I recently discovered your blog from Pinterest. And of course your title 50 is not old caught my eye. I love how you embrace fashion and don’t let a sill age number stop you from wearing trendy stuff and such. My daughter is always telling me that I’m not too old to wear so many of the things you show case! I’m 66 and the younger girls in my office always say that they love how I dress. They all dressed “old lady” when I started and they are all younger than I am. I have shaped them up for sure!!! Keep up the awesome blogging!

  31. Enjoy reading your blog daily in Lufkin, Texas! (Also love my R&F and Plunder!)

  34. Lisa Neighbors says:

In my mind, I’m not a dark clothing person either but when I look in my closet it looks like 50 shades of black! LOL I suppose that I have a mental fixation that I need to wear dark bottoms for the whole slimming effect (that’s where I need the most slimming). Also, I’m not so great at accessorizing. Your blog is my therapy for both, plus I just like to read about what’s going on with you. 🙂 It’s wonderfully, amazing that your outreach is so broad! Keeping growing!! I currently reside in Charles Town, WV.

  38. Love the look, we used to call them Pinefore Dresses. Your story about your mother making you go to Church, reminded me of my Mum. On Sunday I went to Church and our last hymn was Now Thank We All Our, God which I call my Measles hymn, because when I was little one day we had to go to the next town to sing at a concert from school. I said to my Mum I don’t feel well, to which she said its just because you are nervous about singing, so had to go, the last hymn was that one and I was sick through it. The next day I was covered in spots and had measles. So was,n’t shirking (sorry to bore you)

  44. Hello. I have just recently come upon your blog and I have to tell you that I look forward to see your posts everyday. I am in my 50’s and have struggled with how to dress stylish and not feel like I’m dressing to young or to old. You have great style and have given me inspiration to update my wardrobe. I know that you were asking what people do – I am a middle/high school secretary and have been for 30 years.

I admire you for sticking with your blog so diligently. I too have one but haven’t posted on it in I don’t know how long! I loved doing it but “life” just got in the way. I keep telling myself I will get back to it, but I don’t even know if I remember how!!! Took me quite awhile to originally get it up and going. I didn’t use ads or anything like that, but it was a wonderful way of journaling my life. Maybe this will spur me to think about it again:) I enjoy your blog…you have real style!

  109. I used to love dresses like that! I even made a few years ago! I love it, I might be on the look out for such one!

  110. I love that purse and I agree, it’s awful when you have to root around in the bottom of your bag for the one thing you want, especially if it’s a deep one. The denim shirt / dress combo is one I wouldn’t have thought of, I’m going to try it. It’s great when you can stretch your wardrobe by mixing it up!

  111. This is a new idea to put the denim shirt under a dress… looks lovely on you Tania. I know what you mean about loving blogging and the comments people leave. It’s always so super nice to go through them and see what people have to say.

    Have a fab day Sweetie!
