Best Cargo Pants for Women Over 50

Over 50 Fashion Blogger, Tania Stephens is wearing Athleta Cargo Pants
Boho Floral V-Neck Ruffle Sleeve Blouse (Medium) | Brooklyn Heights High Rise Cargo Pant (Size 8) | Italian Leather Convertible Crescent Handwoven Shoulder BagVionic Ankle Straps Heeled Sandal (TTS) |

These cargo pants feel amazing!!! I’ve recently become a fan of Athleta clothing, so I decided to try the Brooklyn Heights High Rise Cargo Pants. These fit true to size, and I love that they feel like loungewear but look like dress pants. Plus, they are great to travel in so that you don’t arrive a wrinkled mess.

Lined Pintuck Blouse (Medium) | Utility Wide Leg (Size 8) | Woven Natural Wedge Sandals (Size up a half size) | 52mm Rectangle Sunglasses

While I like the look of cargo pants, most of them aren’t made in a style I would wear. I look for a sleeker, more refined pair that doesn’t have pockets that stick out. The Utility Wide Leg pair I’m wearing is exactly what I was looking for. They look nicer and more elevated than most utility jeans I’ve found. I’m wearing a size 8, and they fit me great.

Bubble Sleeve Henley Top (Medium) | Drapey Cargo Pants (Size 8) | Pointed Bow Flat (TTS) | High Polish 2.2″ Hoop Earrings | Daphne Gold Link and Chain Necklace

These Drapey Cargo Pants have old Hollywood glamour written all over them. I love this camel color, but I bought the winter white color instead. Although the camel is a great neutral, I figured I’d get more wear from the winter white pair.

Gap Mid Rise Linen-Cotton Pull-On Cargo Pants

You’ll see in this post that there are all kinds of cargo pants. These pull-on style pants have a drawstring, and they look sooo comfy and cozy. They come in so many colors, like navy, black, white, red, etc.!

Over 50 Fashion Blogger, Tania Stephens is doing a Chico's Beginning of Summer Try On Haul51
Summer Romance Swirl Midi Cardigan (Size 1) | Ribbed High Neck Tank (Size 1) | Poplin Cropped Pants (Size 1) | Hexie Multi-Strand Necklace | Cassie Gold-Tone Circle Earrings | Gold Tone Beaded Stretch Bracelet | Women’s Wedge Sandals (In Black)

This pair of cropped utility pants from Chico’s can be rolled or unrolled. They come in 8 different colors, but I love white since I can wear it with ANYTHING! These would make the perfect pair of travel pants!

Dokotoo Womens Cargo Pants

If you’re looking for a more subtle cargo-inspired pant, this pocket is placed higher up rather than on the side of the leg. They have a wide-leg silhouette, which you gurls know is still trending this season.

PAIGE Carly Cargo Pants

This next pair is a bit of a splurge, but PAIGE is a really popular denim brand. They will look so cute with a block heel or sandal now and with a bootie in the fall.

Denim Cargo Pants

Lands’ End Denim High Rise Utility Cargo Ankle Jeans

Now we’re switching gears to denim cargo pants! This pair from Lands’ End is super soft with lots of stretch making them comfy AND cute. They come in three different washes, and the white ones may be my favorite!

J.Crew Factory Premium Edition straight-leg cargo jean

Here’s a very similar denim pair from J.Crew Factory. You can see here how you could style them casually with white sneaker, which is my shoe of choice a lot of days. Just add a graphic tee or and you’re ready to tackle the day!

Athleisure and Jogger Style Cargo Pants

Athleta Endless High Rise Cargo Pant

I tried on Athleta’s regular Endless pants in a previous post, but they also come in a cargo style. You can see my try-on and review in this post. The material is lightweight and perfect for spring and summer. Plus, if you’re wearing them for a workout or for travel, you’ll have plenty of pockets for your phone, keys, etc.

Spanx Casual Fridays Cargo Jogger Pant

Did you know Spanx had some great athleisure options? This pair of cargo joggers has a smoothing inner waistband and they’re made from sweat-wicking material. They come in three great shades, and they sell a matching top!

Libin Cargo Joggers Quick Dry Hiking Pants

If you’re shopping on a budget, this is the pair of cargo joggers for you! The reviews are amazing, and customers say they’re lightweight, breathable, and quick to dry. Like most Amazon fashion finds, they come in a million different colors to choose from!
