Beige Pants Are On Trend And Here Are Some You’ll Love

If you haven’t heard yet, beige color pants are making a big splash in the fashion world this season. And let’s be honest, who doesn’t love a chic, and timeless piece that can be dressed up or down? There’s a wide range of beige – an item can be warm or cool, light tan or a bit darker. All of these are in the beige “family.” No matter what the tone, beige pants are on trend, and here are some you’ll love!

Easy Everyday Tee (Large) | La Boheme Trouser (Size 8) | Dorith Sandal with Cork Footbed and Arch Support (Size up) | Denim Jacket (Large) | Handwoven Pouch Crossbody Clutch | Embroidered Belt (Similar)

I recently wore this outfit out to dinner when Joe and I went to North Myrtle Beach. He took the photo for me, and I’m just glad my head wasn’t cut off. Lol! The La Boheme Trousers are one of my favorite purchases this year!

They are so flowy and feel amazing when you wear them. However, they do wrinkle, as you can see. The photo was taken after dinner, so I had done a lot of sitting.

V-Neck Sweater Tank Top (Large) | High Waist Linen Pants (Medium) | Top Handle Straw Clutch | Daphne Statement Necklace | Daphne Turquoise Earrings | Ashanti Cuff Bracelet

I love wearing white and beige. This summer neutral color combination is classy and chic. The 100% linen pants are slightly oversized with wide, flowy legs. They have a drawstring waist, so you can cinch them up if needed. I’m wearing a medium, and they are a tiny bit too big, but I wouldn’t want them any smaller. I haven’t washed them, and I would be afraid they might shrink a tad.

These khaki ankle pants are made from a breathable linen blend, perfect for keeping cool and comfy. They fit true to size and are super versatile for any casual outfit. Plus, with free shipping and returns from Nordstrom, there’s no risk in trying them out. I think they are the epitome of casual chic!

How many faves can a gurl have? Asking for a friend, lol. If you’ve been reading this blog for a while, you know I buy Wit and Wisdom every chance I get. They are super comfortable, and who doesn’t love something called “Ab-solution”? These are casual enough to pair with sneakers for a day running errands, but you could also throw on a pair of nice sandals for a more elevated look. They are true to size and super comfy.

C’mon! This looks like something straight out of a movie—one starring Katharine Hepburn or Lauren Bacall. They hit just below the waistline and are machine washable.

Wearever Pleated Trousers

Don’t these pants look comfy? They should. They’re made from a soft rayon-blend jersey knit. They fit at the waist and are close through the hip and thigh, but they run large, so consider sizing down. The elasticized waistband and on-seam pockets are super practical, and the double inverted pleats add a touch of sophistication. PLUS, the Wearever line is wrinkle-resistant so throw them in the luggage and go.

CLASSIC LINEN WIDE CROP PANTS – FOIL

Y’all know that Talbot’s is my go-to store. Not only do I love it, but Joe always gives me a ton of compliments when I wear something from their store. These pants are lovely. Made from light and breathable linen with chic metallic foil details, they’re great for just about any event. The side-zip closure and back welt pockets add a nice touch of sophistication. Available in a lovely Tan/Gold color, these crop pants are super versatile and stylish. They are similar to the pants from Bloomingdale’s but without the front pockets.

Exodus 33:18-20 NIV

18 Then Moses said, “Now show me your glory.”

19 And the Lord said, “I will cause all my goodness to pass in front of you, and I will proclaim my name, the Lord, in your presence. I will have mercy on whom I will have mercy, and I will have compassion on whom I will have compassion. 20 But,” he said, “you cannot see my face, for no one may see me and live.”

    1. Lissa, you and I are close to the same age. I turned 64 this year. When I started this blog, I was 55. Who knew I would still be doing it all this time later?!?

  3. Not in the workforce any longer, but love staying a bit on trend and up-to-date with your ideas. Hit a Big milestone birthday on Sunday at 70, but can always find myself wearing the outfits you show….never too old! Thanks for all the youthful tips also.

    1. Never too old to look fashionable!

  4. I swear you look great in everything!!

  5. Joe is a handsome fella!
The Kut from Kluth are my favorite pants. I love the beige and white. I’m going to have to try that combination.

  6. Great picture of your husband! I understand completely when you said he did not cut off your head—my husband always cuts peoples heads off!lol
    Great post of beige pants!

    1. Lol! My feet or head is always cut off in his pictures. Or, I’ll be the size of an ant. Lol!!!

  7. Tina Holley says:

They beige pants look really nice on you.

  8. I love the Katherine Hepburn look, but would wear it in the fall. I love the tan linen pants with white tank.

  9. Fabulous picture of Joe! Frame it…give it to your family…and of course keep one for you where you can see it often

    1. I just made it my phone saver photo. He’ll want to know why I “sucking up” to him. Lol!

  12. I love beige/khaki pants. Love the beige slacks with a white top.
    Great picture of Joe.

  13. Love the beige pants trend! I always have a pair in my wardrobe anyway, they’re so versatile. I’m still in the work force but I’m in semi-retirement. Only work 3 days a week now.

  14. Jenniffer Groski says:

I love Kut from the Kloth pants!!!! I think I see some in my future.

  15. Susan in the 'burbs says:

Great post and great pic of Joe!

I “handle” my wardrobe with a somewhat capsule approach. My core/basic colors for spring/summer are black and white and stone (beige). I have a couple of pants in each (plus jeans) and a couple of tops in each (say a tank and a button-front shirt) plus a layering piece in each color (jacket, blazer, lightweight cardigan). Then I add accent colors. For me that’s blues (from navy to cadet to robin’s egg) and pinks (from pale blush to cottage rose). And the last items are just for fun…black-&-white check pants, a red shirt, gauchos in a wild purple+green+black+white print. But with ALL that variety guess what I turn to most? Yep. Stone pants, white shirt, and black linen blazer. The stone/beige goes with everything! Love it with black or navy as well as white.

    Thanks for all the ideas.

  16. Christine says:

I love 💗 the beige pants!!! I am not a big fan of white pants- they look great on everyone else, so the beige gives me a grown up version of “khakis”. I enjoy the flowy and linen styles with wedges or sandals. Thanks for featuring these as an option! Christine

  17. Always enjoy your blog and sense of humour. I’m not into ‘beige’, since I’m a ‘winter’ and pretty much stick to that category of colours. I do wear more taupe/stone ( more difficult to find ) coloured but only in casual pants. Since I’m only 5′ , wide leg isn’t flattering , unless I wear very high heels.
Like how you style things . Love the Quince bag. Unfortunately they do not ship to Canada. Also like the Woven Bow handbag. I’d appreciate knowing if it true ‘beige’ , or more off white, as it looks like in your photo and the Amazon site. Also how you like using it. I usually use a smaller bag, but a larger bag is sometimes more convenient . Thanks

  18. I love the beige and white combo. In fact I just wore a pair of beige linen high waist wide leg pants (whew that was long) with a white top on Sunday. I paired it with similar turquoise earrings and a cognac crossbody bag. Great summer look.

  19. Hi Tania – yes, I still work full time and love seeing office appropriate attire – especially J. Jill, Nordstrom, Eileen Fisher, and Chico’s. Thanks for keeping us updated on the latest styles – I really enjoy your blog!

  20. Great picture of Joe! I miss date nights with my husband. He’s been in heaven for 2 years and 8 months.

    1. I bet you have a lot of wonderful memories of your time together. 🥰️

  21. I love beige linen pants. They’re great for our Texas heat. I also like ecru jeans and khaki pants. So Cute with all of the bright summer tops…or white.

  22. Ginger Hiller says:

That is a very good picture of Joe! If flax is part of the beige family, I’m on board since I have a couple of linen blend pants in that color. With all of the choices you shared, I’d say that there’s something for all of us.

    1. Ginger, I consider all shades of light brown in the beige family. I doubt the “beige police” will be arresting us for wearing flax or khaki. Hahaha

  23. Great photo of Joe. You should’ve had the waiter take a pic of both of you together.

    1. I didn’t even think of that. I could have set my phone up on a timer and took one together.

  24. Angela Dixon says:

    Yes, I still work.

  25. Julie Gates says:

I love the beige linen and white shirt!

  26. Roberta Schwandner says:

The motion trousers are my favorite!

  27. Great picture of Joe! I love the beige linen pants with white shirts.

  28. Gina Luebke says:

    Some super cute choices!
I have a few Pair of neutral color pants right now but I may need to add another.

  29. Beautiful beige tones of pants shown.

My favorite neutrals. Love Sundance clothing. I need a sale though. lol!

Love the sneakers too! So appreciate your posts.

    1. Pam, they are having a 30% off sale on dresses through tomorrow.

  30. I love linen, wrinkles and all! I just started following you and love that you post so many different styles of beige pants. It helps me to see what is out there because I don’t shop much other than online.

    1. Julie, I shop online too, it is so much easier.

  31. I have oodles of beige pants! love them and the wider leg is a nice change

  32. Great picture of Joe! Love beige pants because they are so versatile. I am retiring at the end of June, so no more work clothes!!

  33. Mary Beth says:

Very nice picture of Joe! My husband and I do date nights too.

  34. Susan Smallwood says:

I’m so thrilled that beige pants are IN! I just ordered some and can’t wait until they arrive.
You look SO awesome in the neutral colors and I’m always hesitant to wear them because I feel like I look washed out. I have reddish brown hair, green eyes and pale skin with freckles and tend to go for brighter colors. I always think blondes do the neutral thing well, but I’m going to give it a try. That neutral look with your pops of turquoise jewelry, are stunning and I’m “borrowing” that look. PS: Great pic of your hubby. He sounds like a wonderful man. 🙂

  35. Lori Duncan says:

I love the tan and white look! I have a pair of linen tan pants from Belk but need to get a new pair. Talbots and JJill are my fave stores!

  36. Tonya Cheatham says:

Hey there, I am so disappointed. The beige slim straight angle petite jean is sold out! I find that a lot though with petite. As soon as I look at your post and go to item I want to order its gone. Do you know of a another place I could look? By the way I discovered you right before covid and have been following you ever since! I have learned so much from you! Thank you for teaching this old dog new tricks! just kidding 😂 l look a little better than a old 🐕 .

    1. Dang, Tonya, I looked last night to see if they still had lots of sizes, but I didn’t scroll down to the Petites. 😒 Check out Talbots and J.Jill. They carry lots of Petite styles.

  37. Susan Weston says:

As you pointed out , linen does wrinkle which is why I tend to shy away from the fabric. I truly didn’t notice any wrinkles in your picture.
Sure looks nice with the comfy jean jacket!

  38. Great pic of Joe! I am loving the beige trend! The items you featured are very nice! Happy Tuesday❤❤❤

  39. Karen Johnson says:

Love the picture of Joe. Handsome man. The linen J Jill wide legged trouser pants are so classic. But I really love the Bible verse where God tells Moses who He is – GOOD! Thank you Tania I look forward to your post every day

  40. Terry Rudd says:

love the picture of you in North Myrtle Beach, I live there !!!
have a great day. I enjoy your blog and posts. keep up the hard work.
    Terry

    1. Terry, it is a gorgeous area. We love going there for a mini vacation or long weekend.

  41. The outfits today are particularly gorgeous. Thanks for the ideas.

  42. You look sharp in the beige pants outfits. I’m a fan of beige pants. I have so many in all kinds of styles especially wide leg. I wear dressier pants to church or special occasions. I’m retired.

  43. I just got a pair of beige linen pants for the summer. They are so versatile. I just love them.
I am still working and I would love some great summer office outfit ideas!
    Many thanks 😊

  44. Carol Ann Jablonski says:

Have you ever done a post on how to do the front tuck of a top or shirt? I can’t seem to get it right. I always look terrible, while you look great! Does body type matter? Pant style? What components make it right?

  45. I love Vital Proteins, especially in chocolate flavor. I put it in my coffee in the morning and have a fancy mocha in seconds. I’d have to say the chocolate doesn’t dissolve as easily as the non-flavored but I just use my little battery powered froth machine and it’s even more special. Give it time to see results. you’ll probably notice it in your nails first.
I hope you like it too.

    1. Hmmm, When this can is empty, I might give the chocolate a try.

  46. Linda Dearman says:

    Love the J Jill trousers!

  47. You got a nice picture of your husband! If he’s like mine, he doesn’t normally have his picture taken as he’s usually the one taking them. I’ve been wanting a pair of beige pants for summer. Not sure I can do the wide legged ones but linen would be nice for the heat. And no, I don’t work so causal/running errands is perfect.

    1. Cecilia, he doesn’t like posing for photos, so that’s why I don’t have that many of him. He is definitely NOT taking photos, I used to worry that my kids wouldn’t know what I looked like if something happened to me because I was always the one taking the photos, and I was never in them. I guess I don’t have to worry about that anymore.

  48. Stephanie Gibson says:

I love a good classic like with a denim jacket.

  49. I tried on the Kut from the Kloth crops and a pair of NYDJ that were almost identical and ended up getting the NYDJ, but I would have been happy with either, the NYDJ just fit me a little better (had to size down in the NYDJ, I was swimming in my regular size, but I usually size down in that brand). Super cute!

  50. Kathy Forina says:

I have followed you for quite a while and love your sense of fashion, helpful hints, verse of the day, and daily thoughts; however, your handsome husband is the icing on the cake! Beige pants may be in fashion, but obviously your great taste runs true on all fronts!

    1. Lol! He will love this comment~

  51. Nice photos & I love the light colors, thx again for the Amazon gift card!

    1. You’re welcome! I hope you find something fun to spend your money on.

  52. Kay Weaver says:

    Great items! Many thanks

  53. I’m still working and have seen and purchased many items you’ve presented. I don’t have a lot of extra time to go shopping so I look forward to your blog each morning.
Beige is not a favorite but I like how you’ve styled with a white top.

    1. Beige and white is one of my favorite combinations. I think it looks chic!

  54. Great picture of Joe! I love the flowy beige pants…I think they look so chic especially when head to toe neutrals…

  55. Great!!! beige pants are the trend, I had just ordered me a linen pair!

  56. Great Joe picture! Green looks good on him. Love the pants from JJill and Talbots.

    1. Julia, that is the first time he had worn that shirt, and I thought it looked great on him.

  57. Not a fan of beige and wide legs. I am too short!

  58. Jennifer S says:

    Great suggestions and reviews. Thanks!

  59. Yup… I still work outside the home but I work in the power industry so I wear jeans and very casual everyday. That being said, I LOVE me a great skirt and dress!!

  60. I like beige pants. The ones from Nordstrom are my favorite!! It really is a great picture of Joe!!

    1. It is the best picture of him that I’ve seen in a long time!

  61. I am still working for a few more years. One thing I’ve noticed though is that workwear has become much more casual since the pandemic. There’s still room for a nice suit from time to time but generally many of the styles you feature work very well for the office too. Still, a workwear focused post from time to time would be welcome!
