ARE YOU LIVING BOLD
Are you living your life bold? I bet that 80% of you said no, that you are actually living your life in the safe zone. I get it, I have been the worst over the years to not want to try something new. It didn’t matter if it was only trying a new food item I was just stuck in a rut. I tell Emersyn all the time that she doesn’t have to “eat” the item but she does need to at least “try” the item. I will tell her to take a bite and if she doesn’t like it that she can spit it out in the trashcan. She has been very good and open to this concept. But, are you?
Since so many of you tell me that you “can’t” wear this or that then I assume that means you are unwilling to even try new things. Like spitting out a food you don’t like, you can take off the offending item and you don’t have to actually wear it. I am not sure if it is my age that has made me bolder in my decisions but something has clicked. I have gotten bolder in my fashion. I have gotten bolder in my personal life. I have gotten bolder in taking risks that before would have made me a nervous wreck. The point is that you can be bold also. When I am old then I shall wear purple is a poem that celebrates the individual that is you. Don’t let anyone else hold you back and keep you from reaching your potential. I never knew that I had what it took to become a blogger but I am glad that I tried. I never knew that I could get up in front of people and lead a training but I am glad that I did. I never knew that I would have the courage to start a new business in my 50’s but I am glad that I did. I bet there are a lot of you that have been risk-takers too and I can’t wait to hear from you.
I received this 57 Year Bold t-shirt in the mail the other day from Chico’s and I was pleasantly surprised. They had sent me an email earlier in the year asking for my sizes but I had completely forgotten about that. I told them a large because I hate getting something and it being too small. This, however, ended up being way too big for me. I love the shirt though and I wanted to wear it. I have seen younger women wearing shirts that were too big by tying the bottom hem in a knot. What do you think? Can you tell that the shirt is too big?
The cheetah print earrings were also from Chico’s back last fall. I received them from a blog reader as a gift and I loved them. The tassel style is cute and fun and I would like to think that is how I am also. Lol! They are no longer available but you know I found some cute things to link to below. The Sawyer bird leather cuff is also really cute. I liked how it had an edgy vibe that seemed to go with the outfit. Plunder will be launching their new jewelry line April 6th. That means that the items that are going to be retiring will no longer be available.
I really appreciate all of the shares and the pins of my outfits that you have been doing. PLEASE continue to do that, you won’t believe the difference it has made in my number of visitors to my blog.

Tania you look awesome. Happy belated birthday.
Love the outfit! Thank you for being such an inspiration!
Love casual looks look me this and I will admit that I am in the 80% that are not bold. I had to read the poem you referred to. I do worry that wearing something bold I worry that people will say I’m dressing “to young” for age 61. So,., I need to work on changing my views on that. Keep reminding us Tania that it is ok to step out of our comfort zones and try new things.
I’m not a cheetah fan, but I really like the knot. No, it does not look too big.
